but still frick him for not choosing UF.

Because he didn't want to be in an offense that didn't fit his skillset?

Mark Richt has lost control of UGA fans' opinions of Aaron Murray.

Make up your damn minds. Is he the choker who can't win the big game like many were saying after the Clemson loss or the all-time great like you're saying now?

Thanks for reminding me why I rarely read anything on the SEC rant. Exactly zero people in this thread, including the OP, have claimed Murray is "the all time great."

Cretins.

I'm glad Driskell broke his leg.

No one arguing that he is better than anyone else. Just celebrating a fine career achievement.

No one is remembering that Weurffel played in the fun n gun (one of the first spread offenses) his entire career, and Murray is putting these numbers up in a balanced pro-style offense.

There's nothing wrong with a little hyperbole to get the creative juices flowing.

I hope Driskell gets a bone infection and dies.

For Georgia fans it's pretty cool for Murray's 100th TD pass to also set it's own school record for longest.

All teams get shite from other fanbases here.
Yes, celebrate Murray's accomplishment.
This is similar to Oregon fans celebrating all their offenses' accomplishments when almost all of that has been against average or worse defenses.

When Oregon or Georgia's offenses overcome an elite defense then I'll be at a loss for words. Right now the flashiness and numbers don't have as much luster when you consider who they were done against.

O/U 2 Murray turnovers versus Florida this year.
Will Georgia have the defense to win in spite of Murray this season?
Will Florida's defense take one to the house this season?!?!?

It's a career stat as a qb in the SEC.

It includes his touchdowns against Alabama.

I realize Murray does not deserve the blame for the South Carolina and Alabama losses nor the Florida win, but he threw for 2 touchdowns and 5 interceptions versus those teams.

I'll try hard not to make excuses if y'all beat Florida this year, but the problem is that Florida's elite defense isn't paired with a good offense. I wouldn't count on Florida's offense turning the ball over 6 times this year, but if Murray scores off a few short fields then I will acknowledge the situation.

If Florida has all their defensive backs for the game, then I shouldn't have any excuses if Aaron Murray truly picks them apart. The past 2 years, Murray hasn't looked good at all versus Florida. Will that change this year? That's what we're all waiting to see.
