My point was that a UNC like school is really good in a particular sport and competes for a championship in that sport and decent in others while Texas A&M is just decent to good in mostly all sports

Won NCs in w hoops, golf, m t&f, & w t&f in the last few years. Been close in softball, baseball, and tennis. Been a regular tourney team in m hoops with last year being the exception. Looks like football is turning it around. Division winner in 10 and top 5 finish in 12.

Aside from Florida, A&M might have the best overall athletic program in the SEC. Of course, that all depends on how much weight you put on football but looking at things as a whole, A&M was a monumental grab for the SEC.
