quote:Would you still say that if it means playing Missouri Thanksgiving weekend rather than LSU, because it almost certainly does. If you do the math, Missouri pretty much has to play their cross divisional rival (whether it's A&M or Arkansas) that weekend, otherwise, they are looking at an open date that weekend which simply would not work. So, if Arkansas gets paired with Missouri, expect A&M to be playing LSU Thanksgiving weekend and Arkansas playing Missouri that weekend.
This is a win for Arkansas. Doesn't matter the side of state you live on you'll have an easy driving distance to LSU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, MSU and Missouri. Cut travel costs, increase fan exposure and center all recruiting territory

Our Tailgating has gotten much better as of late but it still needs work, I agree. It will continue to get better though.
If you have already made up your mind that we are going to lose and continue to lose then I can see where your coming from on that last part. Although, If you don't think A&M has the right resources to be something much bigger than I'm not sure what to say to you.

Sounds like what the SEC has thought about Arky for the last 20 years.
Yes..we are done with them.
Our expectations for Mizz and A&M are much higher than Ark and USCe.
USC gets more time due to respect for the ViSoR and the fact that, while only .500 in bowl games since joining the SEC, they possess 2 of the 9 wins that comprised the "SEC streak" over the Big10 bell cow. We gave Ark more than enough time to represent as well but not only is the bowl record very poor..they broke the streak aforementioned.
It's simply time to let the new kids on the block have a try.

I mean do you think Bobby Petrino would be able to win at A&M? Or he couldn't do without the resources Arkansas provides?
A couple bad football hires put our program back, it's that simple.

Your pathetic yimmerings about A&M have been filed in the irrelevant category. Have a nice day.
If I have hurt feelings because of my spot-on Zagat entries of TAMU and B/CS, write your own. Be sure and include some Bottle Cap Alley anecdotes.

You've been anything but spot on. It would be foolish to take advice on our traditions, town, university, etc.. from a person who didn't attend it.

You're up.
Write to the SEC what YOU recommend all visitors see and do in beautiful B/CS on a typical SEC game weekend. Sights. Eats. Drinks.
The floor is yours. Do your school and chamber of commerce proud. This is your moment.

Don't have to. The SEC knows what Fayetteville has to offer.
Sell yourselves to us. Those who have not seen or been to B/CS.
Why would you NOT?

EZ as 1, 2, 3....
K Sumlin had the fragging Houston Cougars on the cusp of a BCS Game after just 3 years. When you add that up with the Aggies resources and then the alliance into the SEC..the sky is the limit and those that cant see that have minimal football sense.

It's pretty simple really. Well let the rest of the SEC decide once they come to an A&M game. My opinion is that they would rather experience an A&M road game than an Arkansas road game once they have experienced both.

I
every time I think about Kevin Sumlin coaching in the SEC.

But they will need recommendations.
That's what we do here on the SRant. Are you afraid the only place you will have to suggest is The Chicken, The Dry Bean, Freebirds and/or Texas Roadhouse? That on campus, we should see your Scout March-in, visit the MSC, the Pet Cemetery, Kyle, the BF Memorial and the grass?
Shirley there is more... Shirley.

Three years...you will be rolling. Talent just needed a reason to come back to A&M. You nailed it..... a few crappy hires After RC and Jackie held you back.
Sleeping GIANT. Book it.

I'm sure...you lost 3 games last year at home and 4 total in Texas. Much easier out
