The indifference is almost palpable.

The same can be said for SC vs Arky. Like Arky, SC has no prior history vs A&M before SEC play and the distance means there is very very little to fan interaction outside of actual games.

This is a win for Arkansas.

Doesn't matter the side of state you live on you'll have an easy driving distance to LSU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, MSU and Missouri.

Cut travel costs, increase fan exposure and center all recruiting territory.

Dude. They whine daily about where their garb is and isn't shelved at Walmarts all over this state. That alumni base isn't running any show anywhere. At least not at the Temple Walmart, that's for sure.

Er...The talent in Harris and surrounding counties should be good enough for A&M to win the SEC in less than 6 years.

The talent surrounding Austin is good enough to win the National title every year. The talent surrounding Miami is good enough to win the National tile every year. The talent surrounding Los Angeles is good enough to win the national title every year for two teams.

If TAMU is normal TAMU they have all talent and no coaching therefore the easy bet is to edge on the side of history.

Texas A&M = UCLA until proven otherwise.

Austin metro HS football is pretty mediocre actually. Anyone who knows Texas HS football knows the best recruits come from Houston metro, Metroplex and East Texas

Aggies still dont get that they are a "boring" program themselves.

Its comical.

Our gameday experience was ranked #1 in the Nation. So that doesn't necessarily compute.

I'm sure it doesn't to you.

The "Aggie thing" is cool if you're and Aggie. It doesn't translate well to visiting fans. Tailgating scene was not that great either. College station is a pretty nice college town but nothing that makes me say "Wow" compared to others.

No offense man, but the Aggies are not that exciting of an opponent when compared to other programs and definitely is not in a position to start talking down to other programs.

It has been fun raking the Aggies over the coals the the last 6 meetings between Mizzou and aTm, especially at your place however.

One of the weirdest new Rant traditions is LSU fans showing love to A&M as a program.

I've never thought of A&M as much of a threat.

They've been "about to get real good" for a century or so now.

Weird.

I base my opinions of Carolina fans prefering A&M as an easier W than Arkansas off of reading Cockytalk.

There were threads on there about "hoping for a different West opponent" way back before any of this expansion was decided.

Yeah thats the equivalent of the Dawgrant or TexAgs for SC fans, not sure about the new SC fans on here but the ones who have been here a while came here to get away from Cockytalk, myself included.

Before it was decided but not before the discussion about SEC expansion has been there for a while.

Sounds like what the SEC has thought about Arky for the last 20 years.

You don't have to understand the "Aggie thing" to have a good experience. Nobody came close to Texas A&M and Nebraska when it came to stadium experience, good fans and overall game day atmosphere in the big 12. We are a much more exciting opponent to play then Missouri and it really isn't close. Sure our program has been down over the last decade but that hasn't stopped us from being a great place to visit, watch a game, etc. Same can't be said about other programs.

Yeah you have had our number in recent history... Not sure how that matters though, I'll just bring up the all-time record and then we are back to square one.

Qualify that though.

Game DAY? Not a freaking chance.

Game DURING? Some right coastie used to Rutgers football thinks your noise and "swaying" is cool looking. IS to a point. But what happens next? You lose, everyone heads to the fricking Chicken to listen to worn out Buffet, JJW and REK. You think that's "cool" to everyone in the SEC? Putting up with welter-weights in some t-shirt dress and maroon boots screaming "SO WELL SO WELL SO WELL" at the right moment during a rousing Up Against The Wall Redneck Mother re-hash?

You're boring as shite. DWI

And yet LSU wants A&M as rival... ArKansas judges their self-worth by A&M... Mizzou wants A&M as a cross.... USC wants A&M as cross.

Your pathetic yimmerings about A&M have been filed in the irrelevant category. Have a nice day.
