Did OP really wonder if Aggie fans will be at the SEC champ game. LOL
They will stuff that sucker.
Then most likely Jerry world in the quarters and so on.

quote:This is the answer. If we make it to Atlanta, we will be 12-0 and just about assured of a top 4 seed regardless of the result in the SECCG (especially if 11-1 Bama is the opponent). We will sell our 16,000 easily, but there will be a lot of trading among Aggie fans because people will start calculating how to allocate their time and money with the playoffs looming. There are some people who prefer to bypass the 12th Man allocation because they can get better tickets on the secondary market, but I suspect the Bama fans having to connection to those folks holding annual ticket s will heavily skew those seats in that direction.
Demand should be stout with new blood in the game, but it would surprise me IF the crowd is not tilted to Bama.

It was almost non existent last year with Texas in the game
Are the Aggies “richer” or “poorer” than Texas?
I get the feeling they have bags of money just laying around for a quick trip to ATL.
Probably a good sized diaspora as well positioned in various places within 300 miles of ATL.
I bet they set the record for ticket prices.
A&M grads have higher average salaries than Texas grads and we are producing more of them. Much of that is because our Engineering school is almost 3x the size of theirs and our B School is about double. Texas graduates a ton of Liberal Arts types that don't make shite. A&M cranks out a ton of upper middle class and entrepreneurial types.
Both schools have a bunch of big donors though and Texas has more corporate sponsorship because they are essentially the NFL team of Austin. Texas also has much stronger tshirt fans. For instance one of their biggest donors ever was Red McCombs who didn't go to school there. As an interesting footnote, McCombs and Lowry Mays co-founded Clear Channel Communications which is now iHeart Radio and the Texas B School is named after McCombs while the A&M B School is named after Mays. Mays was the Aggie who basically bought Fran from Bama as well.

A&M goes to Atlanta we will travel.
Do they have enough stroke for SECCG and the playoffs, or are they what I call, “scared money?”

I thought Jimbo got all of "that" money?

This is a very very premature thread

Bama has to lose twice. They have the tiebreakers over Georgia and Ole Miss.

17000 will get tickets through the schools.
Most tickets are owned by long term subscribers.
I just wonder whether they are “all talk and no cattle” when it comes down to paying a premium for a seat.
Bama probably controls the most subscriptions since they played in the game in 1992/93/94 when the ticket process got started.

They’re not dropping one to Auburn. Evidently they are a bipolar team.
I don't think you have a firm grasp on this series, Jordan Hare, or this Auburn team.
I guarantee this game is goimg to be close- it's a toss-up.
Auburn has close games vs OK GA TAMU (though that was dominated by a&m) Vandy and Mizzou.
To think Bama is any kind of sure thing is ridiculous. 24-20 Auburn.

Tamu should get to the game first before having an opinion on it.....

We have to get past Oklahoma first. Until that happens at least 1 team isn’t locked in.
After this coming Saturday things clear up considerably.

Some of us already bought tickets.
Ags don't make it and I re-list and make a little money for Christmas.
Win win.

if ATM loses to either USCe or TX, they're out (but still make playoffs)
Bama can drop either OU or auburn (but not both) and still be in
