A&M v Arkansas has been the most consistent fun rivalry game the last decade

I know A&M is 9-1 during this time, but without looking up scores I feel like last year was the only year a team looked dominant over the other. Wasn’t the score still close like 20-10? Anyways tomorrow should be good if you’re a sports fan

Always a great game. And Arky fans are great in real life.
Biggest downside is Arlington. Ready to get it back to home and home, and get a trip to NWA planned.

It’s fun bc it’s close, usually. There was this streak or a period where the game went to OT with the hogs, more than once.

I was deployed during the fall for like 7 straight years. The SWC classic was always on tv in the galley and I hated having to leave for mission before the game ended.

Pittman is smart enough to understand that Bielema’s preferred strategy of voluntarily laying the kickoff up in play around the 5 yard line is actually a terrible idea. That Bielema actually defended that strategy always blew my mind.

This year is an interesting change of pace in that Arkansas won last year and is the more respected team coming into the game. the Hogs can’t afford to come out tight.

Tough matchup on the field and coaching booth.
Cannot wait for the rivalry to be played at home stadiums.
Dj Durkin defensive scheme “held” Briles’ offense vs. Arkansas to 51 points last year, to barely beat them by 1 point. 52-51 Ole Miss in 2021.
Texas A&M will not score 50 points, so I am expecting a loss by 2 TDs.
TAMU’s DL is the wildcard, we need to get sacks at key moments. Advantage: KJ shedding blocks. Arky wins it 41-30.

They are generally heart attack games regardless.
I feel like Arky has the upper hand this year. Don’t know why the spread is favoring us but Vegas rarely spits the bit.

Deep Ellum district has had a LOT of violent crime recently. Lots of locals are staying away.
Do yourself a favor and head to Uptown or area around Klyde Warren before it gets much later. I love Deep Ellum, used to live in the heart of it in fact, but I wouldn't take a chance on a late night in Deep Ellum at the moment.
