Based on a QB that is significantly more dynamic than Mond. I bet we throw deep a lot more than once every three or four games. Also, every OL replacement is "rated" individually better than the senior that left. It will take time for them to get the reps, but I have a lot of faith in Henson. In his very first year our OL was average with lower-rated players.

Oh, and the defense will be better as well - all the younger players (secondary) have another year in the system

So basically, you're betting on recruiting rankings to make you better?

I'm betting on "coaching" - a foreign word to LSU fans

You mean the coach who ran Florida State into the ground?

Sorry Lsu is so inferior now. Maybe the next coach will bring them back. Until then you’re stuck looking up moral victories.

We will see. I just hope LSU doesn't suck too badly, because I want them to keep Orgeron. The whole conference does

I don't know, I feel like they just won a title not too long ago.

And yet it isn’t going to help moving forward. It’s just a matter of time until you realize the truth.

Based on what?

Aggie went 7-5 in 2019 then had one of their best seasons even in 2020.

Based on the fact without Joe Burrow, you’re coaching staff and defense are only a 8-3 team at best.

im thinking bottom 3 in the SEC

Well they will be breaking in a new qb and a new line. There will be some growing pains like with any team that has to do that but they probably have as much talent as they have ever had. I expect them to be much better in the back end of the season. If not by the end of the season, by the start of the following season They will be better, offensively, than they ever were with Mond IMO. Defensively they will be better as well. They have recruited pretty well.

Yeah the first part was true against us. Our worst team in 20 or more seasons hung around with their best team ever. Let that sink in.

15-0 in 2019 to this moral victory in 2020. The decline is real.

I think its going to be rough on the OL. We have skill talent but our OL is going to struggle mightily.

It will be for a little bit. That should be expected but they’ll come around. I know u guys are losing almost all the starting line but what kind of experience does the returning depth have? Were any of those guys able to get significant snaps? Just wondering. It could mitigate some of the growing pains.

Meh I don’t know. He’s still recruiting really well so even if he’s on hes way out somebody’s gonna win a bunch of games. Any quality coach can win big at LSU. No matter what people say, he owns the greatest season in our history. Objectively, the best single season in anyone’s history. This season was a dumpster fire but we will probably be favored in every game next year except the bama game. That is assuming we go into the bama game undefeated which I think happens.
