I enjoyed the renewal of the A&M/LSU rivalry, and especially interacting with the Tiger fans in the stands and tailgating.

Congrats to LSU for a hard-fought win - see you next year!

I thought we were recruiting Tabuyo as a corner? Or am I thinking of Sezer instead?

our offense was just fine. Our kicker and senseless turnovers (like the ball bouncing off the receivers chest) is what did us in. Your defense got burned for a lot of yards, but unfortunately they don't measure games by yards. I'll give your D half the credit for the win. I give our kicker the other half.

Sezer at corner. Tabuyo is a receiver all the way.

That offense, led by a freshmen, moved the ball better against LSU than anyone else they've played this year.

Yet Towson scored more points against LSU.

Is aTm going to keep that same offense next season?

Sure, why not? We lead the SEC in rushing yards avg. per game.

Chavis figured out A&M's offense in one quarter. A&M didn't do shite after that.

We did compile over 220 yards, but yes, we were largely ineffective and hampered by turnovers.

Now you're using the famous Mike Sherman line. Bottom line is that we turn the ball over way too much and don't force enough turnovers ourselves.

I agree but (just my opinion) it won't win aTm the SEC West Division anytime soon.

That offense hasn't won them the BIg 12 South since 1998. I wouldn't change it. Why change it when it's still probably the best offense in the conference. Maybe the rest of the conference should make their offense like A&M. I just think it was bad play calling. They completely abandoned the run in the 2nd half. Also Manziel needs to become a smarter and more accurate passer.

The only "offense" that ever won the SEC West was Cam Newton at Auburn in 2010.

Defenses, however are a different story. If we get a defense on par with Alabama or LSU, we could take a knee every play and it wouldn't matter.

I dont think they need to change a whole lot of anything scheme wise. The teams in front of them just have better talent (Bama/LSU)

What's there to change? Let Johnny Blowjob run around like a retarded chicken and throw more picks?

I know you're not mad, so I guess you're just a jerk. Johnny will be more experienced and wiser next year.

Seems to me aTm will have to at least go to a more balanced run/pass game against SEC defenses.... especially SEC west defenses.

The offense that out gained yours and Florida for that matter? That's not a moral victory or bitter grapes statement, it's just ridiculous to say that a team that was a couple of mistakes away from beating both you and the #2 team in the country this season needs to completely redesign their offensive scheme.

We just need more talent and depth, pure and simple.

Our starters can play with anyone...but they can't play every snap. The fact that Dustin "Toast" Harris is even on the field at CB, let alone STARTING says a lot about how little talent we have in the secondary.

OP nice post. Thanks! It was great to get the rivalry going. The lsu fans even behaved foe the most part.

Why Sumlin stopped running the ball is a mystery. Five turnovers to zero. Not going to beat anyone like that in any league.
