well we LSU fans might as well give up now i tell ya.....
We can't go fordin to travel to that there Fiesta Bowl. Is it within walkin distance of Louisiana? i'm not too sure.
If I can't take my swamp boat, Ma, along with a few cousins of mine with this jar of quarters I got saved up from the past few years n' a leftover FEMA card, then well I just won't be able to make it. I know all them there A&M folks have that ol' oil money and work in the corporate world where they got them there tall fancy buildins. think they call them sky scrapers. tallest buildin i ever seen in Louisiana was the mall.
I sure would likin to travel to the Fiesta Bowl, but I think the bowl selectin' committee would be better off if they just picked that superior program the Aggies got. They all real rich, and purty, and dey travel business class on flying planes errry where they go. Maybe one day when us good Louisiana folks get a break from these hurricanes and the economy we'll be able to afford things like the Aggies can.
good Lord the A&M arrogance is out of control. Little dick syndrome.

I never found Ball Gravy/Golfer's tailgates. I wandered around lot E for an hour looking.
You couldn't find the large tailgate with lots of LSU fans dancing on top of chairs and tables outside the basketball arena next to the softball field? There was even an Asian guy (LSU) pants less getting down. How'd you miss that?
Either way, you missed out on a good time

A&M is a second tier football school at best. The fiesta would not take them ahead if lsu. I now understand why Texas fans said what they did. You guys just repeatedly overstate and expand your importance. It really is a little brother / step child mentality. Fascinating.

Now that you put that on record I will present the 3 highest rated games of last season.
LSU vs Bama
LSU vs UGA
LSU vs Arkansas
We have a larger national profile than TAMU. Even with Johnny football. We are a known commodity. When the committees sit down do you think they are going to go on speculation that Johnny football will bring viewers despite having a lower rating playing the same team? Or do they take the team who has been a national team for the past decade and dominated the TV ratings for 2 years straight?

so #1 is the same as #2?
For TV ratings purposes yes.

Manziel will draw a lot of attention from the bowl committees. Problem is we're a known commodity. You're talking about a school that sent in over 40K requests to the Rose Bowl and we didn't even know if that's where we would end up. We're a fan base with people that wiped out the entire Seattle area out of boat rentals including yachts. We went to WVU last year and caused an alcohol shortage. I could go on.

Also.. quite gravy training on La Tech.
It's called dickriding and no LSU fans need to do that all we have to do is say "24-19".

Damn you LSU folks really don't like A&M messing with your little fiefdom. Sorry guys but we bring a lot to the table and you are going to have to DWI.
A&M ALWAYS gets better bowls than they deserve. It's actually part of why our bowl record has sucked for the last 20 years, we got put above our paygrade most of the time. Bowls LOVE A&M because we travel and spend money and get ratings. We have a hell of a lot more alumni than LSU and there are a hell of a lot more people that live in just the Houston metro than Louisiana much less the State of Texas. It's not about what is fair, it's about marketing.
This year especially A&M is the hot ticket. We have our first legit Heisman contender in ages that is easily the most exciting player in college football to watch. Obviously the Bama win has also put the college football world on notice. I mean this morning I turned on Sirius College Football this morning and they are interviewing Bo Pellini from Nebraska. What do they ask him about? "What do you think of A&M's win over Bama and Johnny Football?!!?" If you think the Fiesta or Rose for that matter will take LSU over A&M right now IF THEY HAVE A CHOICE you are nuts.
Personally I REALLY want Notre Dame in the Fiesta. My Sr year at A&M we were undefeated and got passed over for the NC game (Bama and Miami) and played one of the last great ND teams in the Cotton and got our clock cleaned. That loss has always left a bitter taste in my mouth. The chance to get an undefeated Irish team that we would destroy and humble is a dream come true. I'd love to see what Johnny Football would do to those slow and overhyped defensive players from South Bend.

No one would book hotels. If the Fiesta takes LSU, the Cotton will opt for Florida, Bama, or Georgia. Ags would go to Capital One or Outback.
LSU fans need to hope for a Florida loss if we have any shot at the BCS. If Florida has one loss, the BCS is picking them.

IF A&M is "likely" so likely to go to the Fiesta Bowl, you should put down some money on a moneyline parlay...
The point is that there are still 2-3 weeks left in the season for some teams so nothing is likely.
