Well in that case, State is in great shape to win the series against A&M since we are ranked #76 currently and we will definitely be unranked when play you guys.

Umm no, sort of, occasionally. We have lost three pitchers to injuries this year and the staff is a patchwork.
Every game is an adventure and you never know what you are going to get. We are capable of winning and / or losing any game at any time. And no lead or deficit is safe with this team.

Definitely.
I will give our players credit for battling and never giving up.
But the team is an enigma.
We hit a lot of Home Runs but then we have a lot of droughts too. Pitching is all over the place….not for the faint hearted at all.
One constant has been great defense in the field. Our fielding % is .983 (I think) which is major league good.
But the other two thirds of the puzzle have been consistently inconsistent.
So we will see what happens in May when we play. We have had some great battles with A&M over the years on the Diamond.
