The gameday experience outside of the stadium was pretty dull but the stadium was a great environment. What a game. That was a tough loss the swallow, but looking forward to a fun rivalry the next few years. That being said, frick the Aggies.

Yeah, you have to consider what type of fans this type of environment attracts. Even then I'd be willing to bet more than half the shite talkers here would be pretty respectful IRL.

This site attracts people who enjoy rustling jimmies.

Why would people here be nice?

That would be incredibly boring.

Our group of four went to yell practice the night before to see it firsthand. On gameday, we were stopped numerous times to have something to eat and drink, including once by a tailgater who remembered us from the night before at yell practice.

All-in-all, this was probably the best experience I have ever had as an opposing fan. The people we met were sincerely nice and so were the ones who just said "howdy" to us as we passed.

I know firsthand a few acquaintances had different experiences at Kyle Field, but overall this surpassed other environments I have been to and the vitriol I've personally experienced from other fanbases.

Thank you, Aggie fans.

Of course they would. You see the things said here because they would never say that irl situation.

Most Aggies ON THIS SITE are good, nice people. They just know how to punch our buttons and do it quite frequently. Some of us just can't seem to ignore that shiny hook.

I think Aggy presents a great, natural, fun rivalry that we have not had since Tulane became a blind/deaf school in athletics. We first played Aggy in the 1800s and have played more than 50 times. They don't seem interested in resuming their series with Texas, who tries to pretend that Aggy is not a rival (who could blame them for wanting to be rid of those insufferable assholes). We are both starting to dominate recruiting in Texas. Saban and Alabama will not rule forever. LSU and A&M have the resources to fill the Saban void and compete for NC against each other, which will gain the attention the entire nation.

And, frick Aggy. They have a completely opposite culture, but their fans are just as insane as we are. It's perfect.

frick Aggy.

This is true. I went to the game in College Station when LSU beat JFF’s team. A&M has the nicest fans in this country. They were nice before, during, and after the game. One gave me directions on how to get off campus easy to avoid traffic. Even said he would wait parked over there and I can follow him to the main road. I told him to go. Holy crap they were all nice. At Bama my group was cussed at, flipped off, and threatened probably 15 different times by Bama fans walking to the stadium. If I didn’t have an out of state license plate I wouldn’t have been shocked to see our car keyed after the game.

The only A&M A-holes are the ones who post on this site and I would not be surprised if they didn’t even go to A&M.

Lies. Lies I tell you. We are horrible. You come to our place always watch your back. We treat visitors horribly.

People are only responding with compliments because are holding their grandmothers hostage.

Glad you had an enjoyable time, we do like to pride ourselves on our southern hospitality and general respect of visitors. Of course there always is a bad egg or two in any fanbase, but we like to think we have fewer than most. I saw plenty of lus fans at several tailgates around the one I was at and they all looked like they were having a good time.

As has been said, a computer screen hides a lot of manners and a lot of the trolling is just good natured back and forth banter. Neither side is innocent here on the rant.

Actually most of the people on our team board have gone as we’ve had many discussions about what corp outfit someone was in or what the bar scene was like when we were on campus. So you’d be incorrect, majority of us do have degreees.

I think our colony of Mexican free tails has moved over to the east side. I was walking down Houston Street either before a game or maybe when my son was touring the campus and the distinct odor hit me. Sad fact.. its actually one of the largest colonies of mexican free tailed bats in the world.

I guess tailgating is what you make of it. Our group always has a great time (Not that I remember much after a half dozen or so palomas).
