well I do know from living in the Houston area...there was VERY little outrage over the fact that A&M lost a 17pt lead at home..and the fact that Sherman ran the ball like 8 times the entire second half.....
Calling bull on this. Although it wasnt a "violent go out and destroy everything in sight" anger. It was more of a deep depression. We have been through this many times in the past decade but most Ags were convinced this time it would be different. At half time i was on cloud nine. I dropped my pretzel on the dirty arse ground at the stadium, picked it up, and ate it without even brushing it off because i was so happy we were dominating that i didnt care if i came down with anything. I didnt even want to talk sports on the ride back to Houston. Every time i thought about the game i wanted to slit my wrists. But not vertically where its actually fatal...horizontally...more as a cry for help.
During the game i wanted to strangle coach sherman. Sometimes i turn to God and other times i turn to the bottle.

OSU for me was a day trip. Drove from San Antonio to College Station, which is around a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive. Ags were driving the field to take the lead when the last interception was made. My buddy I was sitting with wanted to leave. There was a minute thirty or so left, and while I knew there was 1% chance of anything positive happening I told him I'd see him at the tailgate. I was frickin' livid but I wasn't about to leave a game before time ran out. Personal point of pride, I guess.
I walked out to my buddy's tailgate and hung out for a couple hours. He makes great ribs. I was mostly silent. None of the dudes really wanted to talk. Some of the ladies were throwing washers trying to get us to perk up but it wasn't really happening. When the ribs were ready I got some to go, walked out to my truck and drove home with the window down. Missed some calls from some friends but preferred the sound of the wind whipping past my ear. Got home, went to Texags to see how bad everyone else was melting down. Stayed up entirely too late watching post-game videos, etc. Finally went to bed around 230a or so 'cause I had to be up the next morning to haul cattle. Sunday - Dad brought up the game a few times on the drive out to the ranch but I kept my answers brief 'cause I wasn't really feeling it. Grandpa made a few comments at the ranch when we got there 'cause he'd watched the game too. I changed subjects then too. Sunday night when I got home I read we were in the SEC, officially. I perked up.

Football is king at South Carolina??? Are you kidding USC has always been a crap program and A&M has much better history than the Cocks.
Only a fan of the following schools should even be allowed to start this thread:
Bama, Georgia, Tenn., LSU, Auburn, Florida, and even Auburn.

Lots of outrage! Our D/C who we held in high esteem got out coached.Gundy schooled us with no huddle up tempo 3rd Qtr. We never thought we could run the table this year.So yes the loss hurts but its not the end of our season. Next week will show what we are made of.We will beat Arky this year! Majority predicted 1-2 close L this year. Have some great position talent but not as deep as LSU,Bama or OU. Now the problem will be if we get bumped by BU,ISU or Tech. Then Mr.Pro Sherm needs to go. I still think no matter what our record we will crush Tex this year making it 4 out of last 6

It's especially bad when you are overseas and you've basically wasted your entire evening and sacrificed valuable sleep (it was almost 3am when the game ended here) and end up stewing on it all week.

Enormous Codpiece... I think I know who you are... do you have a niece that tailgates with you?
As for me, I'm not sure what happened after halftime because I was raging on Makers all day from 7 am at the tailgate through the first half... I woke up on Sunday and saw we lost.
I was confused, then I didn't open up my laptop until Wednesday.
Glad to be back from my TD ban.
