I cannot stand him.
Yes, I like what he does on the field. Each and every one of you would as well.
We've been bad from 1999 - 2009. We were decent in 2010, couldn't close in 2011, and pretty good in 2012. We've seen so many other programs with the "win at all costs" and I never wanted to be like that, but of course I always have wanted to win big.
If I were coach of A&M and have had YEARS of success, I'd bench him. If I were the coach of A&M and had one good year under my belt, I would have a very tough decision to make. I have been bothered by the stupidity of Johnny to not stay out of the spotlight. I know if were being targetted by the media, officials, etc, I would do my best to be extra clean. He doesn't seem to get that. He's just a different breed, he really doesn't care what people think about him. I laughed at the autograph thing yesterday, but did not laugh at him walking past Sumlin.
I realize many greats have done the same thing, and their actions never sat well with me. Johnny's doesn't,either.

Yes yes yes.
This entire narrative was already set up by the media. It's a pre-determined story, and was going to happen no matter what. But JFF doesn't have to make it worse. And Sumlin, despite a few harsh words, just doesn't look like he's in control.
Hopefully Sumlin can keep him on lockdown for just this one season and get the most out of him again. I just want the team to come out the better for his tenure, especially after all the antics. Then JFF can act the fool and fail miserably in the NFL all he wants

I think the media is doing their best to create controversy, and I really don't agree. Take for instance the "money sign". that's not a money sign, that's our signal for sending in the next play. Watch Joekel, he did it too after the plays were over. And we did it all last year starting in game 1.
so much football yesterday and THIS....THIS is the headline ESPN has at the top. Why is it even a headline?
so, when you ask if I agree with the media, NO, frick them

Players talk shite in competitive sports and the people that disagree have never played competitive sports and should just shut their mouth!
I played baseball, football, and wrestled in high school and I wrestled in college and I totally disagree with the actions of Johnny Douchebag. I loved going up against shite talking, trash like him and would like nothing more than to run into punks like him off the field.
And, if you think his teammates like this sort of shite you are more stupid than you post makes you appear. That’s just propaganda coming out of the Aggie camp and if truth be known, I would imagine several Aggies would like to smash that hawk-like nose of his.

Tahj Boyd did the money sign after scoring his first rushing TD. Doesn't surprise me Clemson has a tpos for a QB.

And you would talk trash and lose. I'm sure Johnny would love showing you how much better he is than you on the field in every possible way. If you ran in to Manziel on the field you would get dominated.

You probably weren't popular in high school or college, were you?

I save it up for punks who make a mockery out of sports and act like the rules and sportsmanship don’t apply to them. It’s just a vice I have.

You are a fricking weirdo. Now I feel bad about the popular comment, since it probably hit close to home, there is no WAY you have friends.

I was not talking about running into Johnny Douchebag on the field and I never gave much thought about my “popularity” because that something girls and losers were more interested in. But, I can assure you that you would want me having your back when things got tough and I had plenty of people return the favor.

Aggies don't know embarrassment. They've always had a "win at all costs" mentality. They have the "us against the world" mentality similar to other cults like the Branch Dividians. They will defend regardless of logic. And they will almost always blame another entity (the media, "tu", Deloss Dodds, the media). Loyalty to their cause is on par with a North Korean office. Their tunnel vision won't allow outside influences to permeate their "holy" self-image. Winning is the objective no matter the method. frick all those who disagree.
They might as well rename the school Johnny A&M.

The way he acted towards Sumlin was what aggravated me the most. Trash talk is going to happen. He just isn't grown up enough to know how to deal with it without hurting his team but I suspect he'll learn. Being a little bitch to your HC is another story and shows the type of character he has

The worst thing he did was walk past Sumlin instead of stopping and looking his coach in the eyes. Rice was chirping at him all half. It will get worse in SEC play. He has to ignore.

Just win. Everything else is just conjecture.

JFF knows he is in control. He has Sumlin locked in the closet. aTm offense looks very normal without him. Bama is in 2 weeks. Sumlin needs him to play next week to get the offense in sync for bama. Lose to bama and the season is over.
