He’s 1-8 in his career against Alabama between Ole Miss, an assistant at Tennessee and now LSU as a head coach/assistant.

The speech doesn’t bother me. He finally got over a hill he’s been climbing since 2005.

Might want to slow your roll there a bit - Saban is finishing up the most dominant run in college football history as the greatest coach that ever lived.

I think LSU is having an amazing year, but there are things that get in the way of repeating that success, like losing both your coordinators every year or so (you think Brady stays at LSU very long? NFL will be pulling strong) and losing an experienced transfer quarterback, etc.

Look at UGA this year, amazing recruiting and talent but receivers leaving early and the change to OC has been a disaster for us. Saban did that sh*t every year, and just keeps cranking along.
