You think it was a good idea to post pictures of a natural disaster (Hurricane Harvey) to talk shite about a city? WTF is wrong with you?
Ain't nothin' wrong with me. I'm not capitalizing on any of Houston's many natural disasters (as if Harvey's the only natural disaster to hit Houston). You all love to talk mud about Baton Rouge, but BR has nothing on Houston.
I see you live in the Houston suburb of The Woodlands. Don't you think your town should've been named, "The Swamp?", instead?

I do, indeed. Born in Newport Beach; have lived in San Diego and now live in Century City district of Los Angeles for quite sometimes now.
I love the South...like the West, it has certain parts of it that aren't so nice -- like Houston. As for my home of Los Angeles, the only redeeming parts of it today are the weather and beautiful scenery. Otherwise, it's gone to you-know-where over the past 50 years. Sad. Very sad.

Yes. Homelessness is a problem here in The City of Angels. They all came from Houston.

Houston has no future. Everyone should move away. The same is true for New Orleans and Miami.

Any city that is run by democrats is either a shithole or soon will be. Don’t blame the rest of the state unless it’s blue also.

I love the state of Texas!! But, we're aiming to move to Northern Arizona if we do move. But,.....Houston isn't run by the Dumbocrats? It's not blue?
Let's see...they've had a lesbian mayor, haven't had a Republican mayor since 1978-1982 and only 2 Republican mayors in over 100 years.
Yeah, Houston's a dumbocrat-run, blue, blue, blue place.

Read the actual study.
It ranks cities according to:
Pollution - Air Quality, Water Quality, # of Smokers, and # of cars on the road
Living Conditions - Population Density, Homes with Mold, Bad Plumbing, and infestations
Infrastructure - Landfills, # of garbage collectors, junk yards
Polling Data on Consumer Satisfaction
Houston was nearly the worst in the first three . . . too many broken down homes with rats and cockroaches occupied by folks who commute too far on over congested roads in sh%tty beaters while leaving too much garbage on the curb.
I will give them a point on the smog. The place looks like a mainland China Industrial town some days.

The projected population growth in Houston over the next 5 years is significant.
Homebuilders are developing all over the place - north, south, and west.

Why the hell would you leave San Diego for LA?

Houston is fine if you like having your car windows smashed in a smash-and-grab, if you like sweating like a pig when it's 80 degrees, and if you love sitting in traffic.
I hate that city. Sadly I have to go several times a year for work
