UF can never win it because we don't play all the sports that Stanford does.

I agree with this. The other downside is all the sports the SEC does not play as a conference

In the Fall only the PAC seems to play Water Polo
In the Winter only the PAC seems to Ski

If only 1 conference really benefits should it count at all?

I'm not sure but it doesn't seem right to count all those sports that not every school competes.

I think they do and the Gators win it every year so nobody pays attention. I think UGA won it one year.

Correct, it is the SEC All Sports Trophy.

If we're considered "not competitive", then you have to throw Kentucky, MS State, Tennessee, and Auburn in that boat as well.

That's over 1/3 of the conference. Nobody outside of you thick skulled, pig fvckers seriously thinks we can't compete.

Hell, we were ranked ahead of you guys in the 2 big sports, and are projected to be again this year. If not for baseball you'd be sitting down with Tennessee.

And guess what, baseball only matter matters for the 6 weeks that nothing else is going on.

Congratulations on your terminal relevancy.

Kentucky has the best basketball team in the country

State has a baseball team

Tennessee had a football team till Kiffin

Auburn has a much better football team normally

I would say historically all are well above Mizzou

Is that why they created the Capitol "had enough of Stanford" Cup...which the Cardinal ladies still win?

The scoring system for the Capital One Cup is MUCH worse. It only counts points for a school if it finishes in the top 10. #11 gets ZERO points.

It counts lacrosse the same as football, basketball, and baseball even tho the SEC and Big12 do not play it. Capitol One seems set up to reward the ACC the most. On a 7 member board 3 are from the west coast and 2 are from the B1G (one from Michigan and one from Ohio State - what a shock)

Group B sports (worth 60 points)
Football - makes sense
Basketball - makes sense
Baseball - makes sense
T&F (outdoor) - makes sense
Soccer - not a SEC sport but at least everybody plays it
Lacrosse - WTF! mostly a east coast and ACC sport

South Carolina tied 5th place with Texas A&M.

Florida beat LSU, A&M, USC
LSU beat A&M, USC

From there it's a tie with USC and A&M with no head to head tie breaker.
