Jeremy Johnson: 'Gus Malzahn's a genius'

LINK

Gus on Twitter - "We just named Jeremy Johnson our starting QB for 2015. Everyone in our program has 100 percent confidence in him! War Eagle!"

LINK

Barrett Sallee (Auburn man) - "Jeremy Johnson's Jump in Heisman Odds Is Warranted"

LINK

The most telling quote is the one from the old ball coach Malzahn. He KNEW Jeremy's success was imminent.

What took so long for college coaches, NFL coaches, NFL GM’s to figure out that IQ at the QB position really does matter.

Jamarcus Russell
Ryan Leaf
Jeff George

Etc.

Weird thread. JJ was a head case. Numerous NFL scouts and college football analysts regarded him as a potential high draft pick based on his abilities shown in practice. He had some kind of strange football stage fright that turned him into one of the worst SEC QBs of all time.

JJ looked like Tom Brady against Arkansas in 2014. Their terrible defense is the reason for most of the hype.
