Do we really have to go through this again? Coach O very well could have know that Guice had sex with the girl without knowing that rape had even been alleged.

“I probably would have lost my (expletive) on him.” He said LSU head football coach Ed Orgeron brought up the subject of his then-girlfriend and Guice about a year after the alleged assault, telling the athlete he shouldn’t be bothered by it. “(Orgeron) said, ‘Everybody’s girlfriend sleeps with other people,’ ” the former player told USA TODAY.
Where in this quote does it say that Orgeron was aware of a rape allegation? Sounds like he could have been trying to defuse a situation involving two players fighting over a girl which I would imagine he's had to deal with quite a bit in his career.

Coach O should be fired, I mean he will be in two years anyway but still

You would have a better point if LSU hadn’t affirmatively reached out to have her make a formal complaint/give a statement. It’s not like they ignored the info because the alleged victim didn’t file a formal complaint.
It’s possible Title IX is so hardcore that they want LSU to do a full on investigation based solely on the word of a third party. But I think any reasonable person would agree that’s absurd, and that if a potential victim refuses to give a statement about the alleged incident even after being asked to do so then there’s not much that can be done

Yes. It is from the VCU game. Here is another.

How in the frick is this supposed to be a reassuring statement?

It was probably something more like, "We've all been cheated on at some point."

Yeah, it seems fishy though.
Of course it does to you. You would want nothing less than LSU to get hit with allegations for covering something up. And that's why no one cares what you think.
NOTHING in those articles suggest that LSU is even close to covering this up.

Translation: "We've all been there. You're not alone and it doesn't make you less of a man. Go find another girl and focus on football."

STTDB must be banned, as the players were emboldened to act it out. It’s like that school has a culture of rape.
LSU Rapers...

I'm sure it made perfect sense in his caveman brain.

So was this part of the "unreported incidents" at LSU that caused his draft stock to fall in 2018?
I’ve been wondering that myself. It’s coming out through online anecdotes that he was just a POS in general, without people knowing he was a rapist. However when he got arrested last week there was a poster who has been in this thread and is a former LSU athlete who was insinuating there being some kind of problems with violence toward women while he was at LSU. If that type of thing was covered up, the responsible parties need to be fired. Based on the article, it seems like the only person at LSU that could potentially fall under that is the tennis coach. Obviously LSU needs to open an investigation on this immediately.

Which is an appropriate response if one is not aware that there has been a rape allegation. Obviously, it is very inappropriate if one is aware of such an allegation. There is no proof whatsoever that coach had a clue that a rape had been alleged or occurred, however. The article simply said that the player reported that he thought coach O knew about it. That's a whole lot of ifs and assumptions.

That's assuming that he actually even said that and that it's a word for word quote.

No........no, it's really not more accurate.
Correct. Rape Cover-up is the correct phrasing. Unsurprising from a "university" that allowed a mouth rapist/pedo to play.

Who covered up rape?

For those who wouldn't read the full article, if I screwed any of the details up please let me know.
How you screwed up - seem like you don't believe that the same Guice who was released by Washington for assaulting a woman would have also been capable of twice exploiting situations with drunken women and assaulting them.
Likely nothing for LSU to worry about here unless some thing else comes out, but Guice seems like he's done.
