Much respect to coach saban...love him or hate him you gotta give him his dues...never would've thought someone could have that much success in the modern era...a winner at every stop along the way.

After he left us we played for 3 National Championships and won 2 over a 15 year period. (2004-2019)

17 seasons is a big run these days. We got a very transient coach who loved to build but then was happy to move on. Along the journey, Coach Saban figured out where home was and that it could be a lot of fun to build and sustain success at the Mecca of college football.
I see NIL and the portal putting some emotional miles on these new guys coming up. Not many will enjoy 17 years anywhere. Unless you happen to coach for Kentucky.
