Mauk did jack shite against SC, but 1 good pass 96 yard pass in blown coverage. You take that 1 play out, he went:

9-24, 153 yards, 0 TD's, 1 INT, 1 Fumble, and 10 rushes for 12 yds.

Mauk ain't shite and he was garbage against SC.

Pretty sure Mizzou isn't going to get blown out by a 2-2 USCjr team that may be the most overrated in the country.

I'm sure babydickMizzzzou is going to just roll over and take the beating, like they have the past 2 years.

Last time y'all came to SC, our QB completed 20 consecutive passes, 3 of them were the same damn play and in a row to the TE.

Mauk and probably Thompson should both be ahead of Driskel. But that's just me. More experience =/= better QB.

I remember this to start 2012 as well.

...Sumlin has never finished lower than 13th in the nation in total offense. just a guess, but Kenny Hill won't be Tier 3 when it's all said and done.

Mauk is going to get destroyed when he comes to The Real Columbia. (the one that's been the sole possessor of the Mayor's Cup. a/k/a the greatest meaningless divisional game trophy in the world....

You wanna talk about blown coverage in that game? The only reason you won is because of blown coverage, regardless of how poorly Mauk played.and the guy who won the game for you won't be coming in to save Thompson's arse again like he had to last year. Enjoy your first year without savior Shaw

Let's talk about Thompson's numbers in that game....

That QB that completed those 20 passes is gone buddy, prepare for the dark times

It's times like this when the massive drop-off of quarterbacking talent in the SEC this season really hits home hard. This is a really depressing list. Hopefully one or two of the unproven quarterbacks will pan out or this could be a loooong season for the SEC.

The good thing is the majority of SEC teams have a very good Running back that they can use, eventually opening up the passing game

Do you guys even have a QB who can complete 20 passes against us? The Mauk from last year would have to throw it 50 times to get 20 completions... Please tell me this is your game plan...

We won the East before, don't act like we haven't. We're .750 or better against the entire SECe over the past 4 seasons.

You can't blow coverage on a doink'd field goal.

You mean like the year before Shaw when we won the SECe?

you forgot to mention that he had more average rushing yards than Mauk, and he's not even a dual threat QB.

The running backs are definitely a bright spot. But, in this day and age, you can't really pin too much hope on them. As you say, though, they'll give the quarterbacks a legitimate chance to prove themselves.

I think Driskel is going to shock a lot of people in an offense completely different from anything Florida's run with him before-- he's basically going to be in the Tebow/Newton offense-- 10-15 runs a game and throws to wide open guys in space, no reading the defense or thinking about things just simple throw and catch and using his physical talent (physically he's by far the most talented QB in the SEC- 4.5 40 at 6'4" 230 and a massive arm his problem is he can't read a defense to save his life).
