Yes he did poor job of management of personnel, doesn't mean he can't coach. It's plenty of coaches who are not great GMs and lost their jobs because of it. Very rare you are a great coach and GM....I can only think of 3 in my lifetime as examples.

This is a dumb take. The team of the school I went to hasn't won it all so therefore I can't have an opinion on a coach I clearly know more about than you.
