ND is that 32 year old dude you see at high school parties. He's tough, seasoned, been around, and is, quite frankly, super fricking creepy. The problem is now, the "has been" doesn't realize that nobody cares he is there. In fact, it angers most that he stoops to the level where he believes everyone cares. ND has not been relevant in college football in a looonngg time. Honestly, they are Big East material, and would prob go 50/50 there.

tldr: ND sucks, who cares, fahq Lou Holtz

Mizzou already tried to get into the B1G and were kicked to the curb so the SEC is stuck with them.

I would say that less than 10% of Mizzou fans prefer the Big 10 over the SEC. Like it or not rural Missouri is more like Arkansas, Kentucky and Tennessee than it is like states up North. Missouri goes further south than Kentucky does.

If the Big 10 opened their door with open arms and full membership, I'd think Mizzou would be retarded not to go.

Actually, I've started a grass roots "Mizzou To The Big 10" campaign in the past two weeks. Do you think its a little odd that Mizzou pushed to be in the one conference that has no exit penalty? We had to explore our best option in a time of uncertainty during the Big 12 fiasco while setting ourself up for a future Big 10 invite. Brilliant move by Mizzou's "shifty" leadership!

I hope this happens, although I admit we're probably stuck in the SEC. I rather Mizzou be

What a bunch of douchers....

Mizzou was invited to join the best conference in the country. Why would we ever leave the SEC? Dumbass question...

Never spoke with Big10...Gov mentioned them as an option. Look at Nebraska floundering in that conference..and will continue since recruiting grounds are gone.

Great troll thread.. but not biting other than to say grow a brain because you obviously are lacking in that area. Can't wait to kick some arse once we get settled in...

Stanford not withstanding...unfortunate but true.

Notre Dame isn't even in the same stratosphere academic-wise as Stanford (football) and Duke (basketball).

Get a brain because I didn't start the thread and after you are done, figure out how to reply to the correct poster.

Personally I think Mizzou is a better fit for the B1G. Hell fans in those area are familiar with the state of Missouri and fans from this state because of MLB teams from cities like Chicago, Cincy, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, and Detroit. So there's already a history of their fans knowing about people from Missouri. I'm happy Mizzou is in the SEC because of the location to Fayetteville and being in the same conference as LSU. But overall they are a better fit for the B1G. I watched the Tennessee vs Mizzou volleyball game last night, didn't feel right.lol. Now Mizzou vs Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin seems to make more sense.

Like you said Rural Missouri might have more in common with SEC teams because of the location to SEC states and history, political beliefs, very conservative, religious backgrounds, etc.

You're in KCMO. The closet SEC school to you is Arkansas. It'd be easier for you to develop a rivalry with B1G schools like Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois compared to schools like UGA, Florida, Tenn, Vandy, USCe.

I don't see Mizzou fans traveling well to SEC East teams.

69 is a really nice number. Let me tell you what the number 69 means to me.

My junior year of college, a hot girl who I had met at a party asked me to draw her nude. This was a few months after the movie Titanic debuted and stoked the fantasies of millions of women.

Well, as a known artist in college I couldn't refuse my first private nude drawing. That night we setup a time for a drawing session in her dorm room and I waited patiently for that day to come.

When I arrived to her room, I knocked and she answered the door wearing a bath robe with slightly damp hair as if she'd just stepped out of the shower a few minutes before.

She smiled and asked me to come in. I followed her into her dorm room and shut the door behind me...

A Nubber sighting! Go back to the hole you crawled out of, and get back to wondering how in the frick you guys will ever be any good again without steroids, cheating, and fake scholarships.

Basically ND wanting their cake and eating the whole thing too. They don't want to give up their exclusive TV deals. ND should have joined the Big 10 years ago. These non-geographical conference decisions are getting ridiculous.

Did they stop getting the thugs from Cali, or was that Colorado that use to get all the thugs from Cali. I can remember one Big 12/Big 8 team had some thugs from Cali throwing up gang signs after a game. It was Colorado or Nebraska.
