Yes, and he dumped you to go to what he thought would be a better position. He decided it wasn't. Do you think LSU is a better situation than Bama?

Bama has better "bling-bling" than LSU.
We have a better tradition, better facilities, an outstanding fanbase, and soon to have a larger stadium.

Saban WILL NOT leave Alabama for any other college job for one simple and obvious reason. If he did leave it will destroy his credibility hence hurting his ability to recruit. He wanted to return to college and couldn't publicly annouce that while still coaching Miami which is all understandable. No one will understand him leaving Bama for another college job. If he did the media would be all over him like they're all over Les Miles right now.

He made a bad decision when he left. The LSU position was not open when he decided to get back into college football. Had it been you can bet your arse he would have taken it. I don't think you can give the edge to either program as far as the best situation. Both have great facilities, both have great fans,(some delusional)both have captured 99% of rich in state talent. No edge either way

It's a legitimate question. Not so much a "I want Saban back" or a feel like a "spurned lover."

Just wondering why Bama fans are so sure he isn't leaving.

ALL OF YOU ARE SEXTON's PAWNS.

$abun is about $abun. He thinks he is bigger than both LSU and bama and all others put together. Any interest through private channels would be "Accidentally made public by the $abun side" and the gumps will have to pay him even more and will.

BTW gumps this is going to happen anyway I would just rather LSU wasn't the school that helps $abun get any more money out of the gumptards but it will be funny either way.

OK OK OK

Guys, instead of starting a whole thread about it, which i WANT to... let me ask some of you lsu guys one question.

To those of y'all who believe he's going with the highest bidder... When Saban doesn't go to ND, who would pay him more than ANYONE... are y'all going to finally shut your yaps about him only caring about being the highest paid? Are you going to finally admit that you were wrong about him?

Oh. Really?

We will pay him just as much as you will. He has said the biggest mistake he made was leaving LSU. He has said he loves Louisiana and has many good friends there. His wife loves the place.
I do not believe he would be hammered by the media as some have said because it would be viewed almost like "coming home" - going back to the place he was happiest.
Our fans would take him back with open arms. Forget all of the stuff that was said and love him even more than we did when he was here before. Saban doesn't seem like the type to let stupid fans bother him either.

Yeah.. I don't see how anyone got the "I want Saban back or spurned lover" thing from?

And my first reply pretty much said why, if you'll go back and read. He can do and accomplish more here.

Oh, I DO want him back. But that wasn't the basis of the question. If you can believe that.

Well I hate Miles but atleast he an outright NC at LSU and a BCS bowl win, what does Nick have at Bama other than an INDEPENDENCE BOWL WIN? And I do not think Saban would leave for LSU because it would be a huge hit on his character again.

2 wins in a row over LSU, MS St., UK, and possibly AU and 3 wins in a row against OM, Arkansas, and UT.

I will gladly take that.

It's very simple LSU is not of the same status as Alabama. The golden age of LSU football is fading fast. It only came around thanks to Saban. Traditionally speaking LSU is not football royalty. It was a good run but it is over.

I have a lot of gump friends that went to Bama. Good folks with a lot of respect for LSU like I have for Alabama. But statements like this from the other 75% of the hillbillys that never even went to a juco is why people hate you.
