Our defense is a hot mess that will get torched in 20 days.
To win this year's game of the century we'll need an offensive explosion.

He was 75%ish last year and threw for 295, a couple TDs, and ran for another around 40 or so yards. All that on his way to a 29-0 thrashing in Tigah Stadium at night. We didn't hear any excuses then, and you won't hear any this season either.

This.

I think anyone who is into the game no matter they're team never wants to see their team just not compete.

The X-factor may be Terrell Lewis. Since coming back he looks unstoppable. If LSU doesn't account for him it's going to be a tough day for Burrow. Getting Marshall back makes us substantially better and Charles back at LT solidifies our OL.

I think this will be a very competitive game and close as long as turnovers don't come into play.

Healthy Tua and those receivers are as good as Burrow and our receivers. (I think Bama receivers are slightly better but I also think Burrow is slightly better than Tua so it’s a wash).

I think our defense (especially at stopping the run) is slightly better than Bamas but you guys will have home field advantage so that’s a wash.

With a healthy Tua, this game will be a brawl. Without Tua, I don’t see much of a chance for Bama.

Hope he is healthy and plays. Win or lose I want it to be because both teams played their hearts out and are both at full strength.

Man that is going be so weird for this game. It’s a 180 from how these games usually go. Won’t be no 9-6 this year.

Excellent post. I'm Bama also and Have no problem giving it up where it's due. LSU looks like some of our big time clubs. Big time athletes coming out their ears, explosive QB/receivers, an NFL secondary and they don't frick around. They go for the kill. The only team who might be as impressive and I have no idea of what they did yesterday is Ohio St at this point.

LSU will have played 3 Top 10 teams prior the Alabama.

Alabama will have played 1 Top 25 team (at least I think A&M was ranked) prior to playing LSU.

I like being battle tested.

Bring it!

Don't you put that voodoo on us

For the first time since 2011 I feel like we are going to have a competitive game. Hope Tua is healed up and ready to go
