I know Maze personally. What he said to me was, "LSU was much better than us. We couldn't have done anything better. All our penalties were because of them. Our missed FG's were all unmakable. Our dropped passes were because of them. There is nothing we could have done to win."

i know him personally as well and he said you owe him money for crack

And the majority of CFB fans agree as well.

The majority of CFB fans are homers.

The majority of voters disagree with fans.

Yes Maze needs to tone down his attitude.

But starting a new thread on every sentence Maze says?

Come on man.

In an interview with ESPN’s Erin Andrews, offensive lineman Will Blackwell and defensive back Morris Claiborne basically said the Tide didn’t earn the right to a rematch. “Traditional it’s been the conference championships that should be in. We really didn’t feel like they earned their spot in the game,” said Blackwell. Claiborne expressed the same thing in the interview as well. Of course Les Miles tried to come back and clean up his players mess

It's not like Alabama played their way into the game. Oklahoma State and the others played their ways out of the game. It's tha classic definition of backing into the game. Blackwell's and Claiborne's statements reflect that sentiment.

LSU fans understand the concept since we got into the BCSCG after the 2007 season the same way. The difference is we at least won the SECCG in 2007. Alabama got to watch the SECCG in 2011.

I think its hilarious that Maze is stating that Bama got into the red zone 5 or 6 times, when in fact only once. Delusion no?

I am in the minority and am happy we are playing bama. Bama is the 2nd best team IMO. Sure it would have been nice to play OSU or Stanford for the simple fact beating them would be easier and playing a different team would be nice.

As a bama homer even you should be able to understand that bama is very fortunate that they didn't have to win the SEC to play for it all.

One of the most amusing thing about this match up is how each fan base is clawing tooth and nail to claim the prize of "most disrespected" as if it has anything to do with the outcome of the game.

True! This one takes the prize!

quote:

“That’s how I think,” he said. “I think we beat ourselves. We got in the red (zone) five or six times and didn’t execute. We did something to stop our progression in scoring.”

Do they have film study at Bama?
