It's very simple.

When your stadium capacity is half the size or smaller than the stadium of a team that you want a home and home with, you aren't getting it.

UCF's stadium capacity is 45,301.

That's 55% or less of the capacity of the following schools:

Michigan
Penn State
Ohio State
Texas A&M
Tennessee
LSU
Alabama
t.u.
USC
Georgia
UCLA
Nebraska
Florida
Auburn
Oklahoma

Your home and home with the sips was back when their stadium capacity was still below 80,000.

They said they don't do 2 for 1s yet they just did one with Penn State and Texas. They also cancelled on us in 07 and again between 2012-15.

LINK

So much for anyone, anytime, anywhere.

Meanwhile, USF's AD isn't a dumbass and we got a 2 for 1 with them.

Here's your first problem Lobotomy, any UCF grad on this board has probably never had an economics course so you're already talking way over their head.

Not all UCF grads are idiots. The best technical officer I have ever served with worked for me from 2013-2015 and is a UCF grad.

Not saying they're all idiots, it's just the ones rehashing the same old rhetoric on this board that seem to have the IQ of a box of hammers.

The hammer coalition just called. They are upset that they are being compared to a commuter school.

Please don’t put UCF in the same category as USF Those clowns couldn’t even win CUSA and they’ll never win even an AAC trophy. They’re a joke.

I guess I don't understand college football contracts. I thought with these home-and-home deals, the home team guranteed the visiting team a lump sum of money and a minimum number of tickets. If UCF is willing to pay $500,000 (or whatever the going rate is these days) and provide up to 10,000 tickets to the visiting team, then why would the size of their stadium be an issue?

2017 average home attendance:

UCF - 36,846

USF - 31,401

By attendance...you would be in the same category as USF.

It’s because UF makes 3 mil. Per home game and to travel to Orlando where they would make considerably less with the fan base we have in Central Florida for only 10 K tickets would be economically disadvantageous to UF. They have everything to gain and we end up with the short end of the stick, even while waxing their asses.

Play at a neutral field then instead of hiding behind excuse after excuse. We’ve offered but after your AD hid you from playing us in the Peach Bowl, no lie surprises us now!

It’s crazy that the seating capacity is smaller than their enrollment

Actually, to be fair their enrollment is is the largest in the state, and probably in the South East. All you need to get into UCF is a pulse.
