I’ve asked nicely in your other threads to please provide a link to how UF ducked you in the Fiesta Bowl? ....... and crickets

Meanwhile, he keeps ignoring the fact that UCF cancelled on UF twice recently and refused a 3 game series despite doing a 2 for 1 with Penn State and Texas. So much for anyone, anytime, anywhere.

It’s because UF makes 3 mil. Per home game and to travel to Orlando where they would make considerably less with the fan base we have in Central Florida for only 10 K tickets would be economically disadvantageous to UF. They have everything to gain and we end up with the short end of the stick, even while waxing their asses.

That explains why UF doesn't want a home and home with anyone OOC (other than FSU, obviously) That does not explain why UF would not want a home and home with UCF, specifically, or why UCF's stadium capacity is an issue in that decision.

Why would uf play in florida for less than half of what they can make at home.. the same florida fans are going to be in the stadium so why give that money to a non p 5 school?

We have a 2 for 1 with USF coming up.

Which they just did with Penn State and Texas. "But we don't do 2 for 1s."

hiding

The only one hiding is UCF. Adopt the early FSU model of anywhere, any time and let the chips fall where they may. Again, it’s not about one game. It’s about playing a grueling schedule week in, week out. You may win a tough, physical game one week but can you man-up the next week against another physical, quality opponent. Oh yeah, then do it again.

I don’t see against the likes of East, Carolina, Connecticut and SMU.

SC just did a 2fer with UCF not long ago while Spurrier was here including beating them at their place in 2012 when they were ranked in the Top 10 and I think maybe even finished in the Top 10 ... problem for them was we finished #4 in the country that year.

Problem for us was that we beat maybe three Top 10 teams that year (UCF, Mizzou and Clemson) but the SEC still fricked us on the bowl. But the Outback was memorable for “The Hit” and many called it the best game of the bowl season that year, so i’m not really complaining. SEC fricked us on the schedule that year too if I remember correctly.

UCF fans are being such crybabies.

If they really wanna do it they’re gonna have to schedule like FSU did in the 80s and 90s.

I'm not advocating for UF playing UCF. The OP stated that as long as UCF's stadium size is less than half that of a P5 school, they won't get a home and home. I just don't see what stadium size has to do with it, when teams typically do not split the gate receipts. Under your statement, UF would have no reason to schedule a Home and home with UCF even if their stadium seated 150,000.

The SEC didn't "frick" y'all on anything. Under the BCS, no more than 2 teams from the same conference could play in a BCS bowl.

Please don’t put UCF in the same category as USF Those clowns couldn’t even win CUSA and they’ll never win even an AAC trophy. They’re a joke.

This nice little two year run where you've beaten nobody of consequence except a beat up Auburn team has really gone to your head.

There is no difference between UCF and USF to the rest of the football world. They both rest squarely in the "shitty G6 schools" category.

Not all UCF grads are idiots. The best technical officer I have ever served with worked for me from 2013-2015 and is a UCF grad.

Don't be a dipshit. My Brigade Automations Officer was a UCF grad when I was the S6 (Chief Technical Officer for non military types)

Here's your first problem Lobotomy, any UCF grad on this board has probably never had an economics course so you're already talking way over their head.

This is not true, there is an understanding of econ...the thread should have been in terms for ucf grads though (hospitality degrees) so instead of stadium seats and revenue - Wedding guests and bottles of cheap liquor

Meanwhile, USF's AD isn't a dumbass and we got a 2 for 1 with them.

The fact that you are talking about Danny White and calling him a "dumbass" shows that what he is doing is working. UCF is a national name now.

He wants attention and you're giving him just that

I made it through elementary school, isn’t that impressive?

You served with that BanaNOLA that posts on here? He was impressive, had over 3000 Vietnamese soldiers die when he stepped foot in Vietnam. Shame they were all South Vietnamese soldiers

This conversation is going to end well. I know because my horoscope said so.
