And people are getting wrong.

Those of hollering "RUN DA BAWL" aren't hollering about not running enough/when we run the ball - we're hollering about where/how we run the ball.

There's a difference.

Drive 60 yards down the field on running play, with a few passes sprinkled in and then get to the red zone and throw 3 straight plays? RUN DA DAMN BAWL!!!

Not even to mention that those jet sweep shovel passes are basically handoffs.

epic gif for this thread and I doubt you even realize it. Nacho guy draws all the attention, but the real star of this gif is houndstooth ball cap old man in the background with the famous line, "Lets go, we need to run da bawwwl"

That is a great gif. Frankly I was fixated on the praying girl with the orgasm look on her face. She drew my attention MUCH more than the nacho guy.

Auburn runs with the QB not impressed. Take away QB rush yards.

Now just imagine what those #s would be if we ran the ball.

I for one have never complained about Kiffin not running the ball. Our highest success running has been in the second half when fatigue sets in for the defense, and I give Kiffin a lot of credit for creating that fatigue.

It's pretty obvious to everyone else that Bama runs the ball a ton. Henry obliterated the record for carries in a season and they still were calling for Kiffin to hand the ball to him more.

Hurts is a top 10-15 rusher in the conference and Harris and Jacobs have averaged something like 7+ ypc. They are dominant on the ground.

1st half- 5.73 ypc
2nd half- 5.75 ypc

Below average 2nd half improvement

With the game tonight, Bama set a new Saban-era record for rushing yards in a season with 3,214, and still at least one more game to go.

Offensive production in college football has skyrocketed over the last decade. In 2009, Bama was ranked 12th in the country in rushing offense with 215.1 rushing yards per game. In 2016, that would only be ranked 35th in the country in rushing offense.
