Well as this board will tell you, swimming, softball, and all other sports dont matter so despite this starting as a baskebtall thread we are talking football as my comment implies. But im sure the quidditch conference titles are nice to have too.
Again, we left for better pastures that yall had to follow in our footsteps like a lost little dog. Theres a reason 3 other schools left as well but yall were too stupid to recognize it at the time. Took a decade and then yall came crawling for an invite, not sure where this "sec wanted us" revisionist history comes from but again with your delusion Im not surprised thats how yall want to spin it.
Post all the lauging emojis you want, we are the one laughing and nobody here is scared of little ol texas coming in. It'll be a fun wake up call when you realize you dont have the kansas st, iowa state, and other little sisters of the poor to pick on for conference mates. But yall will be away from big that big, bad Kansas football team so theres that!

Did we want to keep a toxic school that eventually ruins conferences it enters out? Sure (ask Colorado, Nebraska, and mizzou, this isn’t just some “aggy conspiracy”).
Did our president who initiated the sec move and the previous sec commish have some sort of gentleman’s agreement about no more expansion of texas teams? Apparently so, but times are different and different people are in charge and money drives all. It’s no surprise the sec wants to increase revenue and it’s footprint.
Are you looking for some sort of confession? Yes, moving to the sec as the only school from texas helped us tremendously and we didn’t want texas or any other school following us at first. It would have watered down our advantage.
Now a decade in, with more funding and facilities improvements, it’s not as big of a deal. We stand on our own and can forge our path forward based on what we are doing as a program, not what other programs are doing around us. Would we prefer them to stay in the big 12? Yes, but it’s not the end of the world. Most A&M fans you’ll find aren’t scared of texas coming over and many welcome resuming what was the 4th most played rivalry in all of college football.

And quidditch titles are not accounted for, but our NCAA-leading amount of conference titles in baseball and our basketball conference tournament title from last year (the same thing aggies haven't accomplished in either of their last two conferences ) sure count. quote:Yes - the SEC realized how big of a mistake you cultish freaks were and wanted the real prize.
