I’m old enough to remember everyone saying Mizzou couldn’t compete in the SEC. Sure, we haven’t been world beaters by any means. But we’ve held our own.
Mizzou is guaranteed three SEC wins each year, just by virtue of being in the East, and their permanent cross-division game is with the team at the bottom of the win-loss list.

Mushshart screwed USC to a 17-25 record during the 5 seasons he held Gamecock football hostage.
Carolina was 16-16 in the SEC before Ray Tanner blinked under pressure and hired the loser.

It'd be downright embarrassing to lose to the bottom team on this list this season, wouldn't it?

Didn't know Arkansas had been that bad.
