Some of you don’t live in reality. The SEC is no longer seen by anyone but you as the premier conference. No one is buying your BS anymore. It’s been 3 years since you had a team in the Natty. Saban is long gone and UGA, your champ, lost to ND and Ole Miss the last 2 years.
I’m a southern homer and take pride in southern football, but the SEC and their fans have gotten soft. You can’t take facts and just want to live thru your past glory. You have a lot in common with Notre Dame.
Whining about more losses in a 9 game schedule is as soft as Lebron. The playoffs will expand so more losses isn’t an issue. What you are really whining about is your advantage is gone vis a vis the BIG. How about y’all just nut up and win post season games. No one cares about the regular season or if you go undefeated or 9-3. Win the meaningful games and build your trophy case.

Can you enlighten us? Inform the masses about the 3 letters and who really benefits from the 3 letters.

Allowing government to run education was a massive misstep. They are the last people that should have anything to say about it.

The SEC is down for certain. That said the conference has 5 original members in the top 15 in all time wins and with the addition of Texas, ATM and Oklahoma 8 of the top 15 If you extend this out to the top 21 you have original SEC member Georgia Tech at 20 and original SEC member at 21....so 9 of the top 21 all time winningest teams in the history of CFB are currently SEC teams and 7 of those, 33%, are original SEC teams, which means they played on another A LOT over the history of CFB. By comparison no other conference has more than 2 "original" teams in the top 15 and only one has 5 in the top 15 currently. 33%. The SEC has 53% currently. Thats the entire history of CFB, not a select era but the entirety of CFB. Anyone who thinks that is done is DELUSIONAL. The SEC is, was and always has been the most competitive CFB conference in the history of CFB and that hasn't changed.

I love the big games but you do make a valid point about 9 games overstressing teams who already play a 8 game tough as nails sos. While I think Indiana was the clear #1, UGA had the tougher schedule.
I don't know what would have happened in week 4 if UGA and Indiana met but I have watched UGA football an inordinate number of hours in the last 53 years and I don't think UGA wanted any of that smoke in January.
