But Using your method. Does the 2010 AU team beat the 03 LSU team?

I think his analysis might be a little more acceptable because the teams are only one year removed. The opponents were as close as can be.

A 2010 team and a 2003 team played the same opponents in name only. Entire staffs changed between 03 and 10.

It doesn't matter in the long run though. Saban's 2003 LSU team would have dominated this year's Auburn team.

3/4 of the nation thinks Auburn is cheating & lying ...and AuburnFan wants to talk about LSU in 2007.

What's up with that........Deflection or Denial?

and yet, i still dont give a frick, because its not going to change a thing. no matter what happens, everyone will remember we won it on the field.
You do realize that 73 is a larger number than 27, right?

At some point down the line. You are going to get the point of my post.

Your original post that the 03 Tigers could beat the 04 or 10 Auburn team is really a meaningless, impossible to determine statement.

Just as mine was.

Different teams in different situations.. But, just for argument sake, if a team was that strong, they should never lose to a 8-5 team. They must not have been as good as you think

The difference was a year and some different talent.

Who was the big difference making talent that was added from 03 to 04.

I can tell you who LSU lost from 03-04....it was a lot. I'm not really sure what BIG playmakers were added on the AU side though.

My hypothesis is the mass exodus from the LSU side is what led to the drastic difference in scores '03 LSU wins 31-7; '04 AU wins 10-9.
