Smile was a decent coach at one time but back in 2012, he filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy that got him $40 million in debt.
He told this to then AD Jeff Long but hired him and collected a $800,000 check.
He wasn't mentally fit to coach football much less an SEC team.

I'm old enough to remember when Auburn and Arkansas (unless one of us was having a down year) were always in the conversation for winning the West. Now I feel like Theoden from the Lord of the Rings. "How did it come to this?"
