Am I cross eyed or did he repeat everything like 3 times?
What will be funny is Florida waits until all of the "better" coaches are hired and Kiffin stays at Ole Miss. Now that would be funny! You do you Scott!

No, Im told by OM fans this is a new era of CFB with the NIL ect so actually he's behind Spurrier
This is a new era of CFB, and everyone knows that. There's no helping you if you think what was important to success in the 90s is still the most important things now

What has OM done with Lane? Id put him above O and Les
Has sustained success but have not yet gotten over the hump. Like Spurrier at Florida. OM and Florida are not LSU who can just win with an average to good coach.

The best part about all of this is it’s all guesses. Nobody has a clue as to what will happen!

Mullen
Mac
Boom
All had 10 win seasons at UF

that article is pure conjecture meant to fill up a page and get clicks. Don't know why you are posting it here

Your level of talent just got their guts pillaged by Kentucky.
As for facilities, aside from the size of the stadium, what makes you think that Florida is ahead of Ole Miss? Our Manning Center was just renovated and is still among the best in the conference.

He is not very smart...UF, FSU, and Miami a good coach can do it easily. Same with LSU. Getting talent has not been an issue at any since the 90s at all.

Bruh I was not around for 1996, but you only won 2 national championships because the GOAT Tim Tebow happened to be born in Florida.
Florida is a good program, but at this point it’s a hot mess versus OM.

Have Ole Miss and Lane signed an extension yet? Weird..his stock can't get higher so that can't bd the issue at all

There's nothing weird about it. He's been very consistent that he doesn't even look at a contract or extension until after the regular season is done.

Lane will never win a natty at Ole Miss. He can at LSU and Florida. Neither are total rebuilds. LSU definitely is not.

I’ll say it again… Lane beats BOTH schools at his current establishment with FAR LESS pressure/expectations and GREAT pay. Why should he leave?

Chris Leak was the starting QB for the 2006 National Championship team and took 90% of the snaps.

I’ll tell you one reason LSU and UF will be better jobs that won’t change permanently. Ole Miss has to beat UF and LSU when even down, can still beat you. If Lane’s gone from Ole Miss then beating ole Miss from LSU or UF is easier than vice versa.
Lane could win at Ole Miss, for sure. But it’s easier at LSU and UF.
His chances are now to do that. When is the last time Ole Miss won the SEC? They aren’t likely to do it this year. Why is next year more likely? Its not.
Coaches coach to win titles, not have good seasons at lesser schools.

So I just read that whole article and it told me Lane will either stay or go to Florida or LSU?
I’m gonna need to collect myself before reading it again

Coaches want to win titles. LSU and UF do not want coaches happy with 10 wins and no titles for years..both schools want coaches with higher goals.
The smooth brains have their talking points.
Apparently only Florida and LSU want to win titles. They just haven’t figured out how on NIL.

UF and LSU are able to win NCs. OM isn't. Best they can hope for is perennial playoff contender.
It takes money to sustain NIL. How's the financials look for OM? Is it making money? Why does the stadium renovation keep getting postponed?
