The 2017 just ended for the spring sports year so this year's numbers would be 2016 2017

So you're saying that I should be able to purchase TurboTax 2017 right now and do my 2017 taxes?

Or is the actual fact that you don't have a clue when it comes to how and when revenue is reported?

Not how it's done. In 2014/2015, which you mistakenly think this is, we were also #1 in total revenue, but our total was 192,600,000. You're simply mistaken, friend.

Here is an article with a partial list from last year. You can see that it's different:

So how many more years will your numbers be inflated because of donations

Your last two years regarding donations is a misnomer. Over 400% higher than every single other year

I've already showed you where, in terms of actual return on investment (profit), Arkansas is 4th. Also known as NET INCOME.

Which probably fell in the 5 or 6 minutes I decided to reply to the post, went and got the mail, meandered back to the computer, took a phone call from a client, answered an email, and then finished my post.

Though 4th in net income is astounding given our population.

Say what you will about Jeff Long but the man knows how to make money.

Don't know. I do know that for the last two years the A&M athletic department has created a larger revenue than any other program in the nation.

I expect us to drop to somewhere between 5-8 next year, but I don't really know.

I am glad you're finally admitting that you were wrong to call those old numbers.

All it did was pay for their stadium

They are using the money donated to the university for the stadium.

If you actually look at revenue increases A&M is not doing much better now than in the Big XII

But at least their donors believed that money could buy them status as the top university in Texas

Aside from baseball, LSU has 2 conference titles in all sports since we joined the conference.

If you actually look at profit, A&M is leaps and bounds ahead of every other athletic department.

Look at the increases across the board not your own except for donations
Since 2011 A&M has a 43 million increase but if you look at other Big XII schools since 2011
They all have increase their revenue as well from 20-35 million dollars

Only thing that helped A&M is ticket revenue with a bigger stadium but how much did that cost A&M in resources to increase the capacity of Kyle Field

You mean in donations

72 million.
Most universities are around 10-40 million
A&M before 2015 was around 15-30 million a year so if you remove 20 million more of the donation revenue again next year than A&M would be #2

Simple economics lesson.

Revenue - Expenses = Profit

$57 Million+ in profit >>>> $16 Million+ in profit

If you remove $20 Million, A&M is STILL bringing in twice as much profit. Here's some simple math for you:

$57M - $20M = $37M $37M / $16M > $2M

I love how A&M fans hang their hat on this stat. I guess if it's the only thing my school has ever accomplished I'd brag about it to. Actually, I'm not a douche so no I wouldn't
