I think this is the mentality that keeps A&M from being elite.

Ed Orgeron won a national championship and then went 5-5 in the Covid year (basically 8-4ish in a normal season) and 6-7.

He got fired.

Jimbo went 8-4 and 5-7 and Aggies are satisfied because they beat LSU.
