I don’t care about the for or against weed argument, but you can’t carry drugs on you in public or you are taking a big chance. Just give a friend some money and let them buy it and hold it. There are always idiots who will carry it around. He is the idiot.

Clearly a stupid move and not defending the kid. Someone had posted perhaps "pills"were an issue
with the arrest since he was booked on an additional controlled substance w/o prescription charge.
I was speculating that the marijuana was also the controlled substance since medical marijuana is a thing in Florida.
Interesting to see how Kirby handles this. He'd be gone in the old days under CMR

I am thinking since it’s been over a week since this occured, Kirby was probably hoping to sweep it under the rug.

Somewhat difficult to "sweep" this under the rug.
I'm assuming he sticks with the kid but redshirts this year and puts him on a tight leash.

Not all laws are equal. You can't see how bad your analogy was? I hope you aren't an attorney.
Yeah, some are bad and need to go away.
That's the entire point.

Understand that you're just another dumbass who uses "it's a law" argument to justify the law?
I think I understood pretty well. It's common for dumbass people who can't make real arguments.
"It's the law". Go frick yourself.

Newsflash: Laws can be bad, and laws do not determine right and wrong.
Laws don't make themselves. People do. If the majority of people in Florida or wherever else do not like the laws, vote for change.
It is a stupid law IMO. But, like everything from my opinions on speed zones in certain areas to Sunday alcohol sales to concealed carry laws, it is the law (just for you) whether I like it or not.
Blame the Bible thumpers who make it out to vote against all the vices in the world. But, we remain a society of laws, so we also have to accept the ramifications if we break the law.

You can't have 9 wolves and 1 sheep and then vote on what's for dinner.
I just do not even remotely accept "It's a law" as justification for the law. That is what pisses me off.
There are weird laws all over the place that aren't enforced because they are stupid laws.
It's gross and people should be ashamed to support these laws in any way. There is no justification for them. They do not make things better, they make things worse. They ruin lives and then to top it off, they and people who say "It's the law" justify it.

Just because you didn't know about it doesn't mean that others didn't. He can't sweep this under the rug but he can probably handle it in house depending on how things play out.
