There was a LSU fan saying the team did not open up the playbook. Just enough to beat Clemson. If that was true and LSU played top 5 team. Why would LSU literally do that? That got me thinking Kelly must be really dumb if he didn't want to open up the playbook and wanted to save the rest of the playbook for later against better team. That must be true that Clemson is overrated. Too bad Kelly almost gave Clemson a chance to tie the game. This is why Kelly isn't a championship HC at this level.

LSU dominated that game statistically. The difference was the two turnovers. Clemson's defense is elite. Their offense is Dabo. LSU will get their reps this weak against LaTech, then be in full form offensively for Flow-Ridda. The defense will only get better, which is scary.

Not sure who said that, but think it was more of a scheme just for that game. First time starting O line playing together against a highly ranked D line they wanted to get the ball out fast. Maybe not using all the playbook because the scheme was around quick passes and not pushing the ball down field.

Unfortunately, probably Florida State.

The expert that posted this article might have had the HC thinking FSU team wasn't going to be very good this year because FSU team was so bad last year. Unlike the Clemson team that made the playoffs last year.

But Clemson offense put up yards and points on Texas.. their defense was the issue. Yes their offense was underwhelming vs LSU but they made the playoffs last year with the same offense and a worse defense. I believe they make it again and probably lose when they face another LSU, Ohio State, Georgia level defense

I believe both teams played a little safe being it was such a good defensive game. If it got more than a score either way you’d probably seen some more shots and creativity.
