Return on Equity is the measure of net income generated by stock holders' equity.

Return on Debt would be the NI generated by borrowing.

Assets - Liabilities = Equity

Debt is a component of the equation unless they changed the math since I was an undergrad.

Debt is money that is borrowed and is repaid at principle plus interst. Equity is ownership in the company that is not repaid.

That equation has nothing to do with RoE. RoE has absolutely nothing to do with debt. Thanks for trying.

As I said, RoE is a measure of how much NI is generated for every dollar of EQUITY.

Notice, I didn't say debt. Maybe they did change accounting since you were in school.

Debt and Equity are on the Balance sheet

Net Income is on the income statement

When I was in school

Income statement was based on year
Balance sheet was the overall statement

Balance Sheet was similar to Net Worth
Assets - Liabilities = Net Worth

Debt is clearly a liability which is why it is deducted

Debt is what we owe in total
Deficit is what we owe in a given year

If you want to give me some of your free cash with no repayment (debt) or carrying cost (interest) then by all means feel free to do so.

You're just throwing accounting words out there now. None of what you just said has anything to do with either of my posts.

Net income is all of your revenue generated in a given year less expenditures. Subtracting your liabilities from your assets does not ever equal your net income (aside from year one, maybe).

For Jimbo or for aggy? I got news for ya, Jimbo doesn't give a shite about your "ROE" bc y'all guaranteed him $75M. One of the two aforementioned parties is going to be dissatisfied, and I'll bet you dollars to donuts it ain't the one that's guaranteed $75M lol.
