It sure looks like A&M is getting Buzz Williams, and it's hard to believe anyone is going to make a better hire than that, if it happens.

So pretty much the exact same troll thread from 30 mins ago with the subtle "durrr LSU has a job opening" bait to try and get the most populous fanbase on the site to bite. All before 10 am. How cringeworthy

No, he's never been in the SEC.
He was an asst at A&M for a couple of years (when A&M was in the Big 12). He was the head coach at Marquette, where he went to 5 tournaments in 6 years as their coach, including going to the S16 three times and the elite 8 once. He then surprised people by leaving Marquette for VTech, where he has done a complete rebuild of their program. This is his 5th year at VTech, and his team has made it in the tournament 3 times.

He was an assistant under BCG, so he has seen basketball support at A&M before.

We’re getting Buzz. He’ll be as good or better as anyone hired, i would guess.
