For folks wanting a conviction before a final decision, these cases typically take over a year before they go to trial. Do you really want that?
There are standards, then there are UAT standards. Why was Williams still in good standing with the team after his FIRST arrest this week? I guess it takes two felony arrests to get suspended at UAT.

When exactly was anyone going to do anything about it? Also, the first arrest wasn't a felony.

I see its the usual NtY rats in here loving every minute of this,,,,why am I not suprised......I guess 3-wins and the AU thug life which permeated the Chizik regime gives them something to celebrate.
Having said that, these four guys all need to go. Thug p.o.s all of them......no excuses

AU thug life which permeated the Chizik regime

I would love to know how many UA players are arrested and it does not get reported by the media. Eddie Williams' Sunday arrest would have gone unnoticed if he did not get arrested two days later.

QFT!
5* Thug POS. Good thing for him, bad thing for society, one of his victims wasn't exercising his 2nd Amendment right.

I honestly think AU fans are as giddy about this as they were the 2010 championship. It's almost as if you people actually think this is going to be Saban's undoing at Bama. Unlike Chizik, Saban can actually coach football at an elite level.

He was arrested on Sunday for the gun charge, the next day he assaulted two different people and robbed them. Tuesday, Saban suspended him. Do you think it is conceivable that Saban didn't know that one of his players was arrested twice within 24 hours? Hell, the first freaking call was probably to the AD! It took the story going public for these thugs to get suspended.

Let them be as giddy as they can....it'll be over come football season when they suck once again and Alabama walks a mudhole in them ..AGAIN.

Typical Bammer mentality. Bammer daddys are ok with their little girls getting slapped around as long as it's a starter on the FB team. Thugs robbing people is bad, unless they might start next season.
As of right now, two of the four are still on the team even after ADMITTING their crimes. Giddy is not the correct term, outrage is.

quote:He was arrested for not having a proper gun license, booked and released on Sunday. I seriously doubt Saban knew anything about it. After getting released, this genius goes out the same night and robs two kids. He doesn't get arrested until midnight Monday night/Tuesday morning. At the earliest, Saban learned about it sometime during the Day on Monday before the arrests were made (unlikely). Or, more likely, he learned about it when the story broke in the news. Players probably aren't in a hurry to call him and let him know they are in jail.
