He has projected by some to be in the mix as starting H-back, but I didn't buy it. H-back was/is going to be Fowler and OJ Howard.

Ive never understood why this is a discussion when this type situation happens.. They clubbed a guy for his credit card and left him unconscious. Why does it matter if he was a starter next year or a scout team player

Just discussing something dude. Get your school girl panties out of your crack.

They'll be punished severely for this.

Doesn't matter football wise. I think some and myself were pointing out how much they've wasted for a thug life. Hope the victims recover all that was lost and receive justice from the courts as this plays out.

Also, it hasn't been discussed, but these guys seem to have admitted to everything. Makes any defense much harder and takes away any leverage in plea negotiations.

So let me get it straight.

Williams, Pettaway, and Hayes go out, beat up a couple of students and take their stuff.

Later, Calloway, back at the dorm, says "Dude, I'm hongry. Let me use that card to get some Cheetos."

SECR cheers.

Did I get it correct?

About right. Forgot them posting bond for large amounts of (REC) money.

I don't have a problem with that. Punishment is deserved for what they did. More need to feel the consequences of their crimes... it might deter others when there is real punishment involved.

This is really interesting to me. I want to know who posted the bonds and if it was the same person for all four.

Interested to know if Calloway was involved in the beating or if he knew about it. Using the card was bad (and deserves expulsion from the team) but knowing where it came from/how it was attained, is on another level altogether.

No one is perfect, but this is pure brute level.

They aren't my clients, so I don't either. However, I hate when my clients have done this. Not much for me to do except beg the DA to go easy on the guy.

You think?

It would be stupid to think else wise. Its actually a easy decision for Saban. Not many coaches would keep any of these kids on the team. Same for Chizik when the Felony 4 hit. I was surprised at people who praised him for dismissing them. It was a easy call

Yep. Nothing to see here

I mean, they just "beat up some students and took their stuff"

No big deal

A Bama fan coworker of mine gave me so much sh#$ about Tyrann Mathieu last year and how that didn’t happen at Bama because of Saban being a strict disciplinarian and Bama moral superiority. I just sent him the link to this thread and titled the email “Thugalama”… Thank you!
