The final details on the contract are being hammered out. Not sure if the real number will go public but LSU is offering a significant amount more than A&M is willing to reach but that isn’t the problem. Aranda wants out.

They pretty much are like LSU. No division titles or national titles recently and they finish with eight or nine wins nearly every year. Other than head to head matchup they're basically mirror images of each other. The only difference is if Aranda goes he will be with a competent head coach.

According to Jacques Doucet and Brent Zwerneman on twitter, it says that Dave Aranda has taken the A&M job for 5 years and making 3.75 million a year

The frick YOU DO. LSU has 47 in all sports. A top 5 Gymnastics team(I know the bama measuring stick), 4 final fours, baseball NC's, 3 FB NC, a slew of track titles, and the only reason you'd be anywhere near is because you stole our track coach years ago

Expect the fact that it isn’t even close to true. The numbers won’t be even remotely near $3MM.
