Of course they're scared. Their douchebag coach is leaving and going to be a douchebag coach somewhere else.
They'll have to go back to bottom of the SEC.

Most of them have to live in Mississippi. Most of those have never left the county they were born in.

Kiffin always ejects.....but Ole Miss is convinced it will all work out for them and Kiffin will stay put.

I don't know man. I guess Ole Miss fans just can't handle their recent success and feel the need to pick on little ole Florida for no apparent reason then.

More like Florida are just like Auburn fans saying "Lane would crawl to Florida."
We point out why its not that simple. And they respond with
"Yall just little Ole Miss with an empty trophy case. Yall will never be a program like Florida. "
So Ole Miss fans fire off everything they can about Florida. Rant loses its mind. People wondering why OM fans are attacking Florida when it is really simple.
Next year it will be FSU and LSU and the cycle will start again. This is groundhog day again.

Fear. They know there is a decent chance if Florida offers, Kiffin might go.
Seems Kiffin can build a great team at Ole Miss and he already makes great money. He would be choosing to go for other reasons.

I didn't see us (AU fans) saying that, and I don't see UF fans saying that.
But Kiffin was a late family intervention from going to Auburn, so it stands to reason he might be tempted by a bigger, richer, higher upside program than Auburn.
I agree, however, that it may not be that simple, especially when you consider why Kiffin ultimately stayed at OM in the last round.

Maybe, there's an underlying issue with this. Maybe it's nothing.
How to post something 101 without posting anything.

Lane may leave but I seriously doubt it is this year.
Florida is a great program but the timing just appears to be all wrong for Lane to leave this year.
Let's just think this through for a second. Lane wants a championship. He may leave Ole Miss for a school that would make winning a championship easier to accomplish. Florida has the potential to be that kind of job which might cause Lane to leave.
However, Lane wants to win a championship. If Ole Miss makes the playoffs this year then I believe Lane will want to focus on his shot at winning a championship during December and January. Therefore, he won't really consider leaving until after Ole Miss is out of the playoffs.
Next year, if Ole Miss falls back outside the CFP contention, Lane will consider leaving if a blue blood program he's interested in is on offer.
It's just not a good year for UF to pursue Lane imo. He's focused on this chance at a winner. Next year, yeah....after 8-4 or 9-3 with no CFP appearance messing up the timing....that's the time he may leave. LSU could have an open position for him then or FSU.
