LSU isn't on the map. Auburn isn't really a great brand even though they've done very well under Gus. Need to better define "3 biggest brands in the SEC". Kentucky basketball is certainly in 3 biggest brands if you're just talking SEC.

The more "connected" parts of LA and TX (the North half of LA and the whole East half of TX) aren't as unfortunate as you down there. I lived in Shi...Shreveport for 12 years and just recently moved back to GA, there wasn't a ton of UGA gear, but it was there.

Being in NYC for way too long.

Stuff I see:

1) UF
2) Bama

3) UGA

It's rare that I see any other school. If I see AU or USCe stuff I usually strike up a conversation just out of pity

Reading replies I guess I see some UK stuff during basketball season. Rarely see college apparel in cold weather as it's usually just a gym shirt or a ballcap

This is true.

Most of not all of the SEC teams have their own bars too.
Ours being Mason Jar in Murray Hill.

I actually wanna say UF is the only school with more than one.
And I’m not counting Brother Jimmys

Hands down the biggest among CFB here are ND, Penn State and Michigan

Bro J's is pretty ACC territory. Never been there on a football Saturday. The Midtown one has distances to every ACC school (which is cool because I grew up in GA very close to Tallahassee).

UGA's bar is absolutely lit on Saturdays

There’s a bunch of them an they certainly love the ACC schools but i think they just also try to market to southern schools.
I know of Vandy and ECU fans who have told me they go there for games.

Have you ever been to American Whiskey near Penn Station.
I’ve gone once (not during the season). And they were marketing themselves as a UGA bar

I assume that’s the one you’re talking about

Yeah pretty much every big game that I've been in town for the last several years. They do a great job. I recommend going at some point next season they would definitely be cordial to a USC fan as long as we were playing another SEC rival or GT.

Does it get packed? UGA game at mason jar gets pretty unbearable.

Usually a full house. There started being lines and one in one out this past season for the UF and AU games which pissed me off. Never happened the last few years even with pretty much full capacity. Bunch of bandwagonners. Rose Bowl was surprisingly empty (guess it was NYD) and I went to the NC so no report there.

1. Bama football
2. Kentucky basketball
3. Just about any other sport we decide we want to fricking dominate. Examples: women’s basketball, softball, gymnastics, baseball, bass fishing.

Gets like that for the first game and Georgia at Mason Jar too. (Clemson never sure as its Thanksgiving and I'm back down south)

Got like that for pre game during the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 too. Emptied out for the games (not that much) as most people went to MSG.

This depends on if we are talking about just football or all sports .

The top 2 brands would Bama And UF. Then the 3rd could be Auburn, UGA or LSU .

Id say

Bama
UGA
Auburn

LSU thinks they are a big brand, but nobody outside of Louisiana gives a frick about them. UF should be bigger than they are, but you only see Gator fans when they are winning.
