Even though pollsters have Ole Miss (very questionably) at #1, I think Tennessee is the favorite going into the series this weekend.. better wins, much better pitching. If something doesn’t change quickly pitching-wise, and I mean by Friday, I can see us getting swept in an ugly fashion. Tennessee offense is just as solid as ours is, if not better.
Any of you Vols traveling over to North MS for the weekend? What’s your thoughts on the series?

Agree. OM is scrappy and it will be a good test for UT
As for Tennessee being #1, there is still a lot of SEC baseball to be played and its a weekly poll.
Vandy and Arkansas are very good. Should be a fun SEC season.

I really like what you're doing this offseason. Its tough to move on (from Freddie), but you upgraded in the long haul with Chapman IMO. McHugh is a sneaky good bullpen signing to go along with Jansen. I think yall would have been better off keeping Joc or Soler over Rosaio, but still good. Yall still need more starting pitching though.

Yeah, I couldn’t be happier. Obviously hate losing Freddie but I’ve been amazed the past 7-10 days. AA is one of the best GM in baseball.
I wanted Soler but I’m fine with Rosario. I love Joc though and wish we had worked something out with him. He brought so much juice and energy to that team.
