bluenutsquirrel, 1st I believe the question was what RB in the SEC?
2nd, I do not think any NFL teams run that outdated offense so what will Laskey be doing when he graduates. It will not be playing football. I am pretty sure all the a SEC mentioned will have the opportunity to do so.

Looking back at the SEC Big VI dominance of the BCS era, one question comes to mind. Where the frick was Georgia? I mean, come on, even Tennessee contributed.

Fournette is far and away the best running back in the nation. Chubb was benefiting from Georgia having a passing game... Opens up more holes. Fournette was constantly running against 8 in the box all coming downhill bc Jennings sucks the fat one. Fournette is faster than Chubb, more athletic, bigger/stronger, and shiftier.

I would say most talented. He'll have to prove he's the best this fall.

Chubb accumulated 266 rushing yards with our backup QB with virtually no game experience in his college career against the #3 rush defense in the nation. Our backup threw nine passes. Nick also had only 94 yards rushing with under 7 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Chubb ran for 178 yards in 1 1/3 quarters against the #3 ranked rush defense. 29 more yards the Fournette did than his highest rushing total for an entire game.

LSU fans have yet to provide any proof to their bullshite they claim other than an aTm defender with poor tackling technique getting trucked by someone 30 lbs bigger than him.

The claim probably comes from the fact that everyone knows who Fournette is and he's been in the national spotlight for a long time and despite how well Chubb did, people don't care as much. I think that actually benefits Chubb and Georgia.
The SEC is stacked at rb. Chubb is not the clear cut best. Virtually every team has a claim. The young rbs from this past season will be easier to compare this upcoming season because they should be relied on heavily.
Just to reiterate, Chubb had a great season, but I think there are several backs that have a chance to lead the SEC this upcoming year.

Someone's really invested in this argument.

It’s all hype with Fournette. He was the #1 player in the nation, because his HS tape shows him running around white kids that weighed 120 lbs. So naturally he has to be the best. The guy disappeared a lot during games. He was all hype. Chubb followed one of the most gifted backs in the SEC and out played him. Stats = facts

What makes a player the clear cut best? If stats don’t prove anything, what does? That’s a honest question.

Chubb's stats don't lie. When you feed him the rock, he produces. Georgia certainly found him to be the most important part of the offense and he had a tremendous workload to do so. If you expect every guy in the SEC to just sit around and come out and look the same, you're wrong. A lot of these guys are young and will get stronger, and develop more in their respective systems. Fournette is being talked about a lot because his workload was sporadic. There were some older guys involved and LSU just rotates a lot of rbs. He will undoubtedly be the feature back next year. Chubb received 20+ touches 5 or 6 times in the last 8 games for Georgia (a few of those with over 30 carries). Fournette received over 20 carries only 3 times. Chubb had him in every category and I'm not denying that, but I don't think the results will be the same from Fournette at least. He should touch the ball more and he certainly improved throughout the year. Also, Arkansas has 2 great ones, Bama has their share, and Auburn, if Malzahn is back, will have some rb get 200+ carries.
Chubb is in the discussion and probably a consensus top 3 based on what he accomplished. A lot can change in a season. I think Michel of Georgia will assist in the workload. I expect Henry, Williams, Collins, Hurd, and Fournette to challenge him and that's just what we know of. I don't think there's a clear cut 1 because those guys are all freaks with power and speed. If you line them up side by side, it's a pretty even field. None of them have a single carry or yard in the 2015 season.

Chubb is good but I don't think he is No.1 RB in SEC.
Fournette is No. 1 RB in SEC.
Good stats don't make you #1. Playing RB in the East is much easier then WEST. Only easy defense in the WEST was TEX AM.
Chubb's speed can only take him so far....... he will need to learn to run between tackles if he wants to succeed at the next level. Speed disappears in the NFL.
I like Fournette's size, speed and special teams skill set. He also has nice hands in the few passes QB ever completed. He is a complete package and will thrive both in College and NFL.

Doesn't really matter who is No. 1 RB in the SEC.
I like LSU's RB's (i'm biased) and I think Chubb and Hurd are good too! Each RB has there own qualities that make them good.
There are two types of RB categories: College RB and College/NFL RB
I think Fournette and Hurd are COllege/NFL Rbs. Fournette has the full package including special teams and Hurd can catch and run which could be dangerous in some of the NFL offenses run today.
I consider Chubb ( id take him at LSU) a very good college RB that relies on his speed to the outside to gain a majority of his yards. NFL requires there RBs to run between the tackles. Everybody has speed in the NFL.
I like all three RBs but I prefer a RB that I vision in the NFL. Chubb i just can't see.
