Pretty certain. You may pass us in the AP but the number 1 seed still resides in Auburn.

If not still #1 they'll be #2 insuring that next Saturday's game in Tuscaloosa will be a #1 vs #2 matchup if Alabama can hang on and get it out of Fayetteville with a win

Florida was insanely impressive today. Historic shooting performance on the road. I don't think it makes me feel any worse about this Auburn team. Effort was very poor today but Florida played with their hair on fire and it was the first time this year Auburn has shown bad effort. Florida deserves to move way up after that.

This guy just keeps digging in every single thread. Talk about clueless.

No, “historically strong” teams don’t lose home games…period. Bama didn’t lose on their home court 2 seasons ago when we were #1 overall, and we never considered ourselves a “historically strong” team. Learn CBB or just stop posting.

It’s not my opinion. It’s literally a metric. I didn’t make the metric, but if you have a problem with it, take it up with Ken Pomeroy.

Despite the loss, this Auburn team has the 4th highest KenPom rating of the past 25 years.

Being a Top 4 team out of around 8,000 total?… yep, I’d say that’s strong.

No, they really don’t. That would be if the season was done tonight, which it isn’t. AU probably has to win out, or only lose 1 more to keep that rating. Can’t compare mid season ratings to end of year ratings if you understand statistics, data, etc. You literally had 3 2025 teams listed in your top 20 of all time just a couple days ago. You don’t understand how this works

My dude he didn't set an "at the end of the season" parameter.

I get it. You don't like Auburn.

My dude, he compared them to end of season ratings. If he’d compared them to all teams after 23 games played, the data analysis would be valid. His conclusion is dumb, and having 3 current teams in his top 20 all time should have been his first clue.

Bro, you’re triggered. Step back from the ledge.

AU is good…like Bama 2 years ago. AU isn’t “historically strong”…at least not yet.

If you go by the metrics, we are. Whether we pay that off or not is a different question.

My god, shut up.

lol…you’re right, you are “historically strong.” So much so, that you were #2 in those metrics for 2 hours today. Hope you can sleep tonight.

You obviously don’t understand how KenPom works.

Which is still historically strong. Take it up with the metrics. Not me.

In what way was Florida's shooting performance historic?

It was good enough. far from historic, but good enough to win.

Such is basketball in the strongest conference in history.
