"Georgia getting Dylan means a lot to me and my interest in them," Smith told On3 Sports of Raiola's decision.

And then he added one major admission: "I have to really give Georgia a look now that they have Dylan."

Sorry my Buckeye friend...he's a Dawg!

Beck will be a RSJr. correct? Or will he be a senior in the fall?

Bama can't win it every year, the B and C tier programs get their day in the sunshine occasionally too

Beck is a redshirt junior.
2020 signing class early enrollee.enrollees.

With the covid year, he can stay through 2025 if he likes though.

(The hope is that he drafts next spring with a great year under his belt)

Will sit the bench for a year and transfer to Ohio State like the last elite QB recruit they conned into going there

If it means two more titles....I can go with it.

Fwiw. Fromm beat Fields out, Can you name something Fields accomplished that Fromm did not?
Can you name something Ohio State accomplished with Fields as QB that Georgia did not with Fromm as QB?

I am genuinely curious about your answer, so I hope you don't run and hide from this thread.

Hasn't Bama matched the longest drought without a title since Saban showed up? This is the year, though, right?

I remember Alabama fans making this type of comment when Bryce Young committed.

Bama didn't lose because of Bryce Young.

Longest since saban showed up is quite the qualifier

Some would say UGA is still in a title drought because you didn't win your own conference in '21 and didn't beat any other conference champs in '22.

Not that I'm saying it. Some would, though.

The rate bama has been winning them has gone down, while uga’s has gone up. Is that a coincidence?

Bama was down for a while in the 90's and 2000's. Where was UGA?

Tech won a natty in that time.

The recruiting secret for Kirby is getting guys that want to compete.
Guys that want to practice.

The talent who doesn't want the smoke leave.

The mentality of athletes at UGA, on a whole, has a different vibe to it.

The entitlement is that they get to be pushed harder than other teams. They get to hurt more at practice.
And for that reason, they seem to bleed and bond together better.

It's part of the recruiting process. Finding these guys.
