Altar away! So Vols all of a sudden become unbeatable . I think you will be disappointed if you really believe what you typed here.

Is Kentucky really going to be that bad? Or are you just being Kentucky pessimistic?

I see about 4 toss ups that are not Georgia and Alabama. You meant to say those two will be solid L's.

They’ll start 3-0 and proclaim they’re back and then Florida will end their season early like every year.

Heupal's offense

Works against lower level defenses that lack the depth/speed to effectively practice and keep up on Gameday.

You know this is not true DJS. I admitted that when Pruitt was hired that Tennessee was headed into a mini football winter during his tenure. I told a lot of people this. Pruitt is not even fit to be a head HS coach must less SEC HC. Overrated defensive coordinator as well.

Hiring Heupal is the best think Tennessee's AD has done in the last few decades or so.

You were confident in end stage fulmer, kiddin, Dooley, butch……and you suddenly had caution for Pruitt? Not buying it.

Butch and Dooley both had elite offensive talent and decent coordinators. Pruitt had absolutely zero going for him.

After avidly following Tennessee football my entire life i feel like we are poised to have the best season since Phil's hay day.

I don't see any team not named Bama or UGA giving us a tough game besides MAYBE Kentucky.

The rest are in either too much dissaray or just not talented enough to keep up with our offense which will set school and conference records imo.

Pitt loses its all world QB. LSU is hot garbage under a new coach who's system won't immediately improve them much and we catch them early. And our first from ur games are essentially lay ups heading into that matchup. For the first time in forever, Tennessee will likely be 5-0 undefeated heading into the Bama game.

We obviously need help at LB and DB in the NIL but this offense is going to be so dominant it wont matter most of our regular season. I am seeing a lot of similarities to this team and 2010 Auburn.

I'm predicting 11-1 and SECG appearance.

Heupal's offense set program records in it's first year with a depleted roster. Hooker and other stars are returning on offense and this just has the makings of a special darkhorse season imo.

Fulmer tried to copy uga’s Kirby success with Pruitt, who hired the same damn OC Kirby used, same one you said was decent when he coached for Dooley. No chance you weren’t confident in him.

Our defense was gutted that game with our best DB sitting out. Purdue had a much better D than us even with our best players intact. Hardly the offense's fault. I knew that hame was a 50 /50 toss up and let's be honest it still took the refs for them to beat us. And that was year ONE in hoops system. Defense just sh@t the bed.

Wrong DJS. Pruitt was hired to be Fulmer's yes man. Everyone knew this. Chaney was and is past his prime. And Weinke is a pile of steaming garbage.
